Cool If you had the power

If you had the choice to remove 2 sitcoms from N@N, what would yours be?

As much as I love Cosby, it's been running continuously now for years - I'd give it a rest for a bit.

The other would be Rosanne. I loved the show the first few seasons, but stop watching regularly the last 3 or 4 seasons I guess so it wouldn't break my heart to see it replaced. (Although I love it when they run the Halloween eps - those were her best).

I LOVE ROSEANNE, But It's Gotta Go. I Mean I Have Seen Every Episode At Least 10 Times And Im Sorry But They Play It To Much And They Need To Put It Either At A Worse Time Spot Or Take It Of.

Roseanne and Fresh Prince. i can't stand Roseanne and Fresh Prince isn't that good and its on several stations. i'd also dump The Cosby show for overexposure and add:

Kate and Allie
227
PUNKY BREWSTER
The Facts of life (again)!
and Blossom

You might get a few of your wants on June 21 since N@N is celebrating its 20th anniversary, they'll be showing shows that they started with .Such as Growing Pains etc. They'll be doing this for 3 nights.

I'm not sure whether or not it was officially called Nick@Nite, but in September of 1985 -- 20 years ago -- the evening schedule on Nickelodeon was:
8pm Dennis the Menace
8:30pm Donna Reed

September of 1986:
8pm Donna Reed
8:30pm Mr. Ed
9pm I Spy
10pm Route 66

September of 1987:
8pm Donna Reed
8:30pm Mister Ed
9pm My Three Sons
9:30 Ann Southern
10pm Car 54 Where Are You?
10:30pm The Monkees
11pm I Spy
12midnight to 3am repeat of schedule

September 0f 1988:
8pm Mr. Ed
8:30pm Patty Duke
9pm My Three Sons
9:30pm Donna Reed
10pm Saturday Night Live (must have been syndicated half-hour version)
10:30pm Second City TV (now on TV Land!)
11pm Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In (again, syndicated half-hour version)
11:30pm Car 54 Where Are You?
12midnight Make Room for Daddy
12:30am Ann Southern
1am Mister Ed
1:30am Patty Duke
2am Donna Reed
2:30am Saturday Night Live
3am Second City TV
3:30am Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In

I suppose the folks at N@N would know better than I. But, from what I've gleaned from old TV Guides and recalled from my memory, it was somewhat of a gradual changeover that gained momentum following the introduction of TV Land and the turn of the millenium. N@N changed not only its shows, but its attitude, as well, reflected by its promos, to appeal to a younger audience -- the parents of kids who had been tuned into Nickelodeon. An interesting note is that when TV Land first came to be, it was officially known as Nick at Nite's TV Land.

I'd get rid of Roseanne and Cosby. I want to see Facts of Life put on!
