Let's get some conversation going here! Now, I know some of you precieve June as being uptight and snobby but I was wondering what kind of nightwear you thought June might wear to bed. I know she is the type to care about her appearance and like any woman wants her husband's assurance that she looks good so I think that she wears sexy lingerie (sp?) to bed.

Do you all think she wears the sexy stuff to bed or does she wear those conservative nightgowns that darn near choke you around the neck? In many episodes where the boys wake Ward up, it takes him a little time to get to the door. Is it because he is trying to pry that conservative gown off or is it that he finds it difficult to get out of bed because he can't keep his eyes off her stuff?

I thought of this because my husband being a deep thinker and a smartass brought it up.

So please don't keep me in suspense and give your thoughts.

I doubt very much that she would wear anything revealing to bed. Probably a nice long, classy silk nightgown. She probably wore the sexier stuff when she was first married before the kids came along.

Silly people. It all depends on what she's in the mood for. I know that when my wife is in the mood she wears no underwear under a nightie. If she's got pjs over underwear, it's gonna take a little work, but it's not impossible.

Therefore, since June is likely a woman of natural appetites, there are some nights when Ward gets snuggled with fewer obstructions.

After all, how do you think they got those kids?

Yes who knows what they did "behind closed doors?" Also I don't think Wally or Beaver ever seemed to go into their room.

You kidding me? Ward would clobber them for sure!

They probably never went in their room when they were in there however, I recall a few episodes where the boys went to get something in their room like when Beaver went into June's makeup to cover up his freckles and I think Wally got Ward's razor out of there without permission too. It suprised me that Ward didn't freak out by that because I was raised that I didn't get into my parents' room at all! That was supposed to be a private place and I especially didn't knock on their door at night unless my hair was on fire!

That's what my dad always told me!

Now that you mention it, it is funny they didn't get after them for the times they did go in there. They also let the tramp Mr. Jeff take a bath in Ward and June's tub, remember?

Oh yes, the famous Mr. Jeff. I can't believe how calm June was! A strange, gross man taking a bath in her tub! I would have lost it!

Then if I recall he left the entire room a disaster and since he went through the close to get to Ward's suit, I just bet he came across some of her unmentionables.

Ward and June (who usually have a fit about the slightest things) were unusually calm in that ep. I think Ward said something like they were obviously not entertaining Noel Coward.
