Of all the lame movies I've seen, some of them I watch so I can make fun of them for my DVD reviews, the worst one was probably the remake of "Rollerball." It is without a doubt the worst movie I have ever seen. I couldn't even come up with a review of it, it was that bad.

I watched this completely random indie movie the other day called Cold Grip. Oh my god...That was the worst movie I've ever seen.

Thumbs down

I cannot stand the "Blade" movies!! My husband loves them and tries to get me to watch them. Of this latest one (playing on PPV) I had to ask if they're to be played for laughs (like the Batman series was). They actually speed up the film when the vampires are running or fighting!!! Its so incredibly cheesy!! And when its not just stupid dialogue, the rest is dark, violent as hell and depressing! You feel like killing yourself after watching it.

The other 2-hr waste of time that comes to mind was Independence Day. The only part I liked in the whole thing was when Will punches out the alien in the desert. I mean, the chick had so many wardrobe changes during the attack that I thought I was watching Diana Ross - and yeah, they're going to upload a virus from a MAC into an alien computer system - since when did earth network with aliens and aliens use "earth time"? And Goldblum smoking a cigar in the spaceship? Yeah, no explosion with pure oxygen there!

I don't care what the special effects are - if the plot is stupid or weak, it ruins the whole thing for me.

Johnson Family Vacation comes to mind, along with the made-for-TV-movie Home Alone 4.

I also despised Fat Man & Little Boy -- a movie about bombs, where nothing explodes?!

I agree with that one. I never saw the appeal of that movie. It was one of the worst theater experiences for me. That along with The Peacemaker and Ocean's 12. It seems like all of the bad movies are always at least 2 hours or more!

I thought I was the only one that hated it.

I also hated Patton and Saving Silverman.

LMAO about Fat Man & Little Boy. On the plus side, John Cusack had a pretty bad ass death in that movie. The worst movie for me was Rules of Attraction.

I am also not a big fan of Independence Day. I remember really looking forward to seeing that movie. Then when I was in the theater watching it I remember thinking to myself, "Well, there are some cool scenes with buildings being blown up, but that is about it." The only good thing about seeing Independence Day was that they showed a preview of Star Trek-First Contact, a great movie!

The worst movie I have ever see would probably be Armageddon with Bruce Willis and Ben Afflect. I thought that was a truly awful movie. That scene between Liv Tyler and Affect about the animal crackers was so totally lame.

Ya know I wanted to say Armageddon too, but thought people would think I was just bashing "sci-fi flicks" or something! That was the worst piece of s^%$ I think I've seen. I fell asleep and woke up around the time they're on this stupid mediorite (sp?) or something and then yeah - that goofy ending - OH MY GOD!

And yeah - we had to go see it the day it opened on July 4th - waited in line forever in the hot sun and for what! I came out of the theatre telling everyone in line not to waste their time or money! And we did go see First Contact and I was hooked on Star Trek after that!! Borgs rock~!
