Did this really ever happen? It seemed like a cop out of saying they didn't want to follow up any further.

I think they do... but referencing the update yesterday, that was in 1997 or 1998 when the show was only airing occasionally on CBS, I don't even know if Lifetime shows them

I'm not sure if Lifetime ever airs any episodes from the CBS years. I'm also curious do they ever air episodes with Virginia Madsen or have they re-edited those to include only Stack.

No, I have never seen Lifetime air any Virginia Madsen narrated stories. I think they RS do the voiceovers for them. I do remember the Michelle Witherall story when it first aired and I think Virginia did the original narration for it. Anybody else remember which stories Virginia Madsen originally did?
