Question Ladies with zits...

Have any of you found a concealor that actually works?? I have this Clinique stuff that sort of works, but not great. Plus it's too dark for my skin and it was the lightest shade they had! Zits just don't want to be covered up, damn things.

Is the Clinique stuff the Anti-Acne zit fix in a tube? I know it comes in two shades (#1 & 2). It's not bad - probably the best I've come across. It really wasn't until I got to a dermatologist a couple of years ago and was put on proper treatment that my complexion cleared up better. I still use the cream for discolourations, but luckily I don't get the flaky patches like I used to with the touch-up cream alone.

Yeah, I've been taking medication for my skin for the past year now and my skin is totally cleared up(well...not TOTALLY ) The creams were only $10 a piece with my prescription plan.

What is it they put you on? I apply Clindoxyl Gel in the morning and then Vitamin A Acid at bedtime. They've worked GREAT! I had acne all my life and nothing worked until I tried those. It really sucks when you're 40 years old and still getting zits!

I'm on prescription meds, but for some reason, my forehead has broken out something awful this week. Sometimes I wonder if your skin can get too used to the cream and it stops working.

Hmm...you know, I don't know what it's called. I do know the shade is #1 though and it's still too dark. Dang light skin.

I've got fair skin and its pretty much right on for me! (I used the #2 if I'm tanned). Wow - you sure must be pale!! How about trying chalk!! Just kidding.

If you don't get zits then why ask ladies with zits?? If you're just wanting to cover dark circles or patches, I find the Cover Girl concealer good for that, but good luck getting it light enough for you. Actually, the best concealers have a bit of a yellow tinge to them - supposedly it helps cover dark patches better (which I'm still trying to figure out but that's besides the point).

I call them all Spackle and Poly-Filla anyways - that's what it feels like sometimes! I have to admit, if someone offered free cosmetic procedures, I'd be first in line for laser resurfacing. I wish I had great skin like the British.

I'm ghostly. And I don't tan at all.

Oh, I have 3 zits on my forehead alone right now. I just want them less red.

hmmmmm - the Bermuda Triangle of Zits eh? Bummer!! (I used to get the cyclops one's in the middle of the forehead or the witch one's on the end of the nose so I can sympathize)!

Yeah, that coverup should help tone them down a bit. I've heard that you actually should go a little darker otherwise, lighter will actually highlight them more. I know I've even mixed different colours to customize my own. Hey - that reminds me - if you go to the Cover Girl website, they have this thing you can do where they can advise you what colour to get that will match your skintone. Its customized. I tried it a while ago and they sent me samples to try (which I've never gotten around to). The more matte the texture the better when dealing with pimples too. Keeping lacing the cream on too.

Cool, I'll have to try that.

Maybe I'll just stick with #1 then. It's a tad darker than my foundation, but not terrible I guess.

Ya know - it's probably that habit you've been wearing for a couple of weeks!! You're sweating under it and it made you breakout!!

You'll have to checkout a bunch of nuns to see if its a common problem among them!
