Exclamation Really important question!

The other day I was watching Family Ties and they showed a sort of flashback episode. One of their cousins visited and they were talking about different funny moments. One was were Mallory was thinking of sleeping w/ her boyfriend, and then Alex smashed a tape he was recording her on. Then Mallory asked Alex if he had ever slept w/ anyone. Did he ever, is there an episode about this? Or did he just say it to seem what would ppl would call "cool"? Thanks!

GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN
[Janey is startled by her Dad who has caught her up in the middle of the night]
Mr. Glenn: "By the way, why aren't you in your PJs? It's after midnight."
Janey: "Um, I was dreaming that I was gonna be late for school, so I woke up and I got dressed, and then I looked at the clock."
Mr. Glenn: "Yeah, but you wear a uniform to school, and that's not a uniform."
Janey: "In my dream I went to public school."

Alex slept with someone very early on in the shows run when he delivered groceries to a 20-something woman. I even remember the next day he came into the kitchen singing "Birds do it, bees do it". She broke his heart either the next or a few days later when he showed up and she was having another guy over. As far as I know that was his first time.

The one I've always been dying to know is if he and Ellen ever did it. They went out for a year but who knows.

I think the subject was taboo in a series like Family Ties. But I'm sure Alex & Ellen did it!

Thanks FTF.

And, yes, Spin, there's no way they would've had a love scene for the two of them or have them talk s-e-x. But I'm sure it would've included "At this Moment" playing in the backround while they made nookie in a bed covered in $$$, LOL.

Yes, that episode did have a conversation between Alex and Steven where he said it was his first time,a nd Steven mentioned his first time. although they never said that he andEllen did, I think it was kind of implied, or at least most of us probably assume so. You're right though, that sor tof thing was mentioned, but that's about it. The only time it was ever really talked about was in the episode we are discussing, where it's his first time and he gets his heart broken by an older woman, and the one where Mallory decides she isn't ready. They really didn't mention it when it all turned out okay.

I remember that episode! I'm surprised I saw it cuz I usually miss tons of Family Ties episodes.
