Default Denise Richards Gives Birth

Report: Denise Richards Gives Birth

(AP) Denise Richards backstage at the W Hotel Lounge during Spring 2005 Fashion Week, held at Bryant... Full Image

NEW YORK (AP) - Denise Richards has given birth to a daughter, People magazine reports. Richards, who filed for divorce from Charlie Sheen in March, gave birth to the couple's second daughter, Lola, Wednesday night at a Los Angeles hospital, her publicist confirmed to the magazine. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces.

Sheen was present when Richards gave birth, and mother and daughter are doing fine, the magazine said Thursday.

The couple also have a 15-month-old daughter, Sam.

Richards, 34, married Sheen in June 2002. They met while shooting the independent film "Good Advice" in 2000, and appeared in 2003's "Scary Movie 3."

In divorce papers filed March 2, Richards cited irreconcilable differences. It was her first marriage and Sheen's second. They began dating after Richards guest-starred on Sheen's former series, "Spin City."

Richards, a former Bond girl, has also appeared in "Wild Things" and "Starship Troopers." Sheen, who stars in the CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men," starred in "Platoon,""Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and the "Hot Shots!" movies.

I'm glad she delivered safely and had a healthy girl.

Just too bad her marriage is in a shambles.

Regardless of why they split. Regardless of their wealth...it's a sad story, especially when children are involved.

It's nice that he was there for the birth, being either it was nice he showed up or nice she let him be involved.

Yeah - I'm glad to hear that they're being civil during this time. Its really too bad - I thought he'd finally settled down and they seemed so much in love (for Hollywood I guess). It would be nice if they could still work things out. I do like him on Two And A Half Men and I've always really liked her.

I wish I were HALF - no one quarter as pretty as she is!

Yes. They should be together with the child.

Good for her and the baby that they are both healthy. I feel bad for their current situation though, with the split and all.

Baby puts new Sheen on Charlie's marriage

It was one big happy family again as "Drop Dead Gorgeous" actress Denise Richards and her estranged hubby, Charlie Sheen, welcomed new baby Lola into the world.

Richards, who had filed for divorce from the ``Two and a Half Men'' star, has apparently put aside their "irreconcilable differences'' for the sake of the new baby and 15-month-old big sister Sam.

Because Sheen was on hand for the birth and was seen trotting to and from the hospital with snacks for the new mom. Must be going all out whilst on marital probation!

According to Inside TV, Sheen has been begging his wife for a second chance and she finally relented and let him move back into their Agoura Hills home.
"It's amazing,'' a source close to the family told the magazine. "They're living together again like the happiest couple, as if nothing had ever happened. They call each other `honey' and they seem inseparable.''

Denise's father-in-law, Martin Sheen, is credited with getting those two crazy kids back together, pressuring Richards to give the Hollywood bad boy another chance. And, you know, it's not nice to disobey the president!

let's hope Charlie doesn't blow it this time. I heard the reason Denise dumped him, and I honestly didn't blame her. Even as a gay man, I can see what a prize Denise Richards would be to have as a wife, yet what he did was a real "what were you thinking?" moment.

Now this article states that they're not back together. I give up.

Denise Richards Gives Birth to Baby Girl

Denise Richards is a mom again.

The 34-year-old actress gave birth Wednesday night at a Los Angeles hospital to daughter Lola, who weighed in at 6 lbs. 10 oz., Richards's publicist tells PEOPLE.

Richards's estranged husband, Charlie Sheen, was in the room with her when she gave birth. Mother and daughter are doing fine.

"We’re thrilled to finally meet our beautiful daughter," Sheen and Richards said in a joint statement.

As for being a mom, Richards told PEOPLE last year: "No book can prepare you" for motherhood.

Richards and Sheen, 39, who also have a 15-month-old daughter, Sam, split in March amid reports that Sheen had resumed his hard-partying ways. Sheen has denied those stories.

Despite the couple's trouble, Richards has said she wants Sheen to be close with their kids. "Denise does want him to be part of the children's lives," a friend told PEOPLE in April. "She wants her kids to have a dad."

Just this week, representatives for both actors denied reports that Sheen had moved back into their Encino, Calif., home. Both sides, however, had long stated that Sheen would be present when the child was born.
