Freddie was saying he was getting ready for and new and upcoming show CATM and that if it was a hit, he would buy himself a puertoricanmobile-LOL
He did a little stand up comedy and was complimented by Johnny |

Freddie did seem a bit nervous, but he knocked them dead that night..and he was only 19 yrs old. Freddie was the very first comic to ever be called over to talk to Johnny Carson once he finished his routine....quite an honor. And it also proved how impressed Carson was by Freddie's talent. He was a winner without a doubt.

![]() BTW I got this list from the official Tonight Show website Guest Date FREDDIE PRINZE 09-21-1976 FREDDIE PRINZE 06-01-1976 FREDDIE PRINZE 04-29-1976 FREDDIE PRINZE 02-24-1976 FREDDIE PRINZE 11-19-1975 FREDDIE PRINZE 09-15-1975 FREDDIE PRINZE 07-22-1975 FREDDIE PRINZE 04-01-1975 FREDDIE PRINZE 01-03-1975 FREDDIE PRINZE 10-16-1974 FREDDIE PRINZE 09-11-1974 FREDDIE PRINZE 07-10-1974 FREDDIE PRINZE 05-21-1974 FREDDIE PRINZE 04-04-1974 FREDDIE PRINZE 02-05-1974 FREDDIE PRINZE 03-06-1974 FREDDIE PRINZE 12-06-1973 you can click on the dates at the website to get more info on the appearance. I noticed a couple of the show links don't really list him on the show and there is no mention of when he guest hosted, only appeared as a guest. IMDb only has him listed as a guest host on Jan 19th of 76 |

Well if someone wants to go and search each and every date for the year 1976 you might find the other show(s) he guest hosted. You can just put in a show date to search. That is how I found the first one, but then I knew that date. I wonder what the other date was????

I had received an email regarding the jacket Freddie wore on the tonight show. I do not recall what year he appeared wearing the rust colored jacket. Believe me I have tried to hunt that episode down. Just recently added various photos of the jacket at the site. front, back, and inside view of the jacket. If anyone can help me narrow down what year he appeared that night on the Tonight show, I'd grately appreciate it!
Thanks Embracing history |
