Default I just watched a Freddie Prinze Guest apperance on the Tonight Show from 1974

Freddie was saying he was getting ready for and new and upcoming show CATM and that if it was a hit, he would buy himself a puertoricanmobile-LOL

He did a little stand up comedy and was complimented by Johnny

Default I loved his first appearance on the Tonight Show...

Freddie did seem a bit nervous, but he knocked them dead that night..and he was only 19 yrs old. Freddie was the very first comic to ever be called over to talk to Johnny Carson once he finished his routine....quite an honor. And it also proved how impressed Carson was by Freddie's talent. He was a winner without a doubt.

Well since I'm the RetroTVCollector, I'm not on the Hunt for the Tonight Show in 1976 when Freddie Was a Guest Host. I think he was a guest Host Twice in 1976

you can click on the dates at the website to get more info on the appearance. I noticed a couple of the show links don't really list him on the show and there is no mention of when he guest hosted, only appeared as a guest.

IMDb only has him listed as a guest host on Jan 19th of 76

Freddie hosted JC more than one time because I remember that. He hosted a couple of them.

Question

Well if someone wants to go and search each and every date for the year 1976 you might find the other show(s) he guest hosted. You can just put in a show date to search. That is how I found the first one, but then I knew that date. I wonder what the other date was????

It's still shocking that a 22 year old was the guest host of the Tonight Show

Default Freddie's jacket

I had received an email regarding the jacket Freddie wore on the tonight show. I do not recall what year he appeared wearing the rust colored jacket. Believe me I have tried to hunt that episode down. Just recently added various photos of the jacket at the site. front, back, and inside view of the jacket. If anyone can help me narrow down what year he appeared that night on the Tonight show, I'd grately appreciate it!
Thanks

I noticed Freddie seemed really nervous on his first appearance, but he did an awesome job! Awesome enough to be invited over to the couch!

One reason IMDB is not reliable at times. How sad they don't list all the appearances by Freddie.
