Post Who use to bunk with Theo?

I was wondering this because he had 2 beds in his room. Sorry if this was already mentioned.

I don't remember him having two beds in his room. I'm picturing the ep when he got his ear pierced (or even the one when he thought he could live on his own) when Bill sat on his bed talking to him (or at his desk). I only recall one bed in the room.

There were two beds in Rudy's and Vanessa's room though and I think two in Denise and what probably was Sondra's room before she left for Princeton.

Nobody bunked with Theo. he had 2 separate beds on his own (which was odd).

I wondered why he had 2 beds also. Also, in the first year they made a big deal out of him getting his ear pierced, yet from year 4 onward Malcolm Jamal Warner had a pierced ear (I think both of them were pierced by the last season) and they didn't make an issue out of it. Malcolm has a pierced tongue and other body parts now.

The First Cut is the deepest!! Actually, it's true, usually parents freak on the first thing (hair colouring, piercing, tatooing) and after that just start giving up! I was shocked to see "Theo" a few years back with all the piercings (God I HATE the tongue done) and the dreadlocks. He just looked so "tough" compared to the sweet little Theo who got that first earlobe pierced!! Once I got used to it I thought he looked cool though.

And yeah, they had the ear pierce ep on yesterday and I noticed that there were two beds. As I say, all I can think is that it was there in case a 6th kid came along! I don't think the Huxtables were big on birth control!

Rudy was supposed to be a boy so maybe that has something to do with it. Plus in a year 1 show there was an episode where Clair briefly wanted to have another baby. In the episode where the family teaches Theo to be responsible about money Clair said that the beds came as a set and they couldn't be split up.

Interesting, where did you hear this info? Who made the decision to make her a girl?

Maybe the bed was Sondra's cause if I remember right in the episode where Denise and Vanessa are fighting over a sweater there is only one bed in Denises', so this could have been Sondra's bed and Theo's room looks larger then Denises so either they moved the bed into Theo's room to make more room for Denise or Theo and Denise switched rooms thus leaving 2 beds in the room that Theo moved into. Just a suggestion.

--------OR--------
I have stayed at friends houses where there was no extra room to use as a guest room so an extra bed has been placed in one of the kids rooms to accomodate guests that may spend the night, so the beds could be pushed together or used to sleep a single guest and the occupant of the room.
