I'm currently working my way through the season 1 DVDs, and I just have one word for them:FANTASTIC ! The picture and sound is so great, it will litteraly KNOCK YOU OVER! And it's great seeing the episodes uncut! With all those scenes that I knew about, and always regreted having them edited out in sydnication, or I had simply forgotten about, since they've been missing for so long. Things like, the tag scenes at the end of "To Market, To Market" and "Sometimes You Hear The Bullet", Henrys sex lecture in "Dear Dad", and the extended opening of the pilot episode. It's like you're back in 1972-73 on Sunday night (where the show first aired in it's first season). Plus, the option of playing them with or without the laugh track is great! I wish they would do that with all the TV DVDs.

I just picked up season 8 over the weekend. I love seeing all the scenes that have been edited out over the years. Much better than watching them in syndication.

I'd type the word, but I don't know what this boards tolerance is for bad language, and I'm too tired to look it up.
