Here are two comparison shots of Munster, Go Home! from the Good Times DVD, and the Munster, Go Home! trailer from the Image Entertainment DVD.
(I have not touched up either picture in any way, shape, or form. These are direct DVD screenshots.) ![]() As you can see, the Good Times DVD version of Munster, Go Home! looks dull, dark, and poorly remastered. |

Kinna an off topic comment here but I watched this movie the other day and all I could think of was, MAN, they hardly even tried using new material. It was like a 'greatest hits' of jokes and site gags. Too bad.
What troopers they were. They had to be, themselves, BURNED OUT on doing the same things and makin' like it was the 1st time. Yeah, #1 the 1st picture is really dull in comparison. I never noticed how fluorescent the blue was. Looks electric! "Don't I look frighteningly handsome in technicolor?". |

I know, but it still was a pretty funny movie. I mean, the part where Herman shouts he's a Lord, and when his butt was on fire, and when they built the new Drag-U-La.
A good cast, too! Fred Gwynne - Lord Herman Munster Yvonne De Carlo - Lady Lily Munster Al Lewis - Grandpa Butch Patrick - Eddie Munster Debbie Watson - Marilyn Terry-Thomas - Cousin Freddie Munster Hermione Gingold - Aunt Effigie Munster John Carradine - Cruikshank the Butler Jeanne Arnold - Cousin Grace Munster Bernard Fox - Squire Lester Moresby Diana Cheney - Mrs. Moresby Robert Pine - Roger Moresby Richard Dawson - Joey Arthur Malet - Alfie Maria Lennard - Millie the Barmaid/The Gryphon |

I've noticed the quality of the Good Times release is lacking. The caps I've taken from it look almost blurry. Hope the Image disk eventually gets released or included in the season 2 DVD set. Either one would be fine with me!
