ABC Sitcom


This sitcom is about four high school friends who just have graduated from high school and are attending the same community college in the Fall. The four friends are as follows: Jake Landon (Billy Aaron Brown), Luke Miller (A.J. Trauth), Nick Matthews (Bret Harrison), and Erin Lauderdale (Courtnee Draper). Jake, Luke, Nick, and Erin decide to buy and move into a two-story house nearby their community college. Jake wants to become a paramedic/firefighter. Luke wants to be become a songwriter/musician. Nick wants to become a computer technician. Erin wants to become a chereographer. This shows the trials and tribulations of four college-aged best friends living under the same roof-dealing with all sorts of everyday stress and misfortunes-as well as all the fun times that comes along with it.

Episodes

Ep1: Pilot Episode (a.k.a "Movin' In):
Jake, Luke, Nick, and Erin move into their new house. They soon learn they must establish a way for the four friends to live under the same roof and still remain friends in the meantime.

Ep2: The Break-Up:
Jake and his girlfriend of 18 months call it quits, after Kerry (Margo Harshman) is accepted to Penn State University and Jake is going to Michigan Technical College. Jake and Kerry share a sad good-bye, as Kerry heads to Penn State leaving Jake feeling alone. Jake's three friends are there for him and take him out for a good time (clubbing).

Ep3: The Hot Sister:
Erin's older, gorgeous sister, Madison (Marne Patterson) plays a visit. The guys are in awe at how hot Madison is. The guys go nuts and try to impress her, resulting in a fight over Madison's heart. Madison drops the bomb that she is pregnant (to Erin), immediately the guys back off once they learn she is going to have a kid in nine months.

Ep4: Best Laid Plans:
Luke and Nick try to get Jake laid for the first time, since the breakup with Kerry. They set up Jake with a mysterious hottie (Krystal) in one of their Computer classes. Krystal turns out to have a big secret: she's into whips and chains (which scares Jake off). Meanwhile, Erin looks for a job at the local YMCA.

Ep5: Jealousy:
Nick becomes jealous of how Luke get all the girls and does not send any his way. Nick, along with Jake and Erin, go to a speed dating session. Nick meets a 20 year old girl who has three kids. Jake meets a girl who is annoyingly optimistic. Erin meets a guy who turns out to her professor's son, Jayson.

Ep6: Get Jobs:
They try to get jobs to help pay for things around the house. The guys get hired at an extreme sports store in the mall, which is ran by Mindy (Christina Moore). Meanwhile, Erin gets the chance to become a coaching assistant for a successful high school dance team after she bumps into the coach, Coach Mel (Melinda Clarke).

Ep7: All Work and No Play:
Mindy has the guys working every weekend, which ticks them off until they discover the amount on their paychecks. Coach Mel and Erin must prepare the team before the perform at the school assembly, which sounds like nothing, but is a real big deal.

Ep8: Jayson's Call:
Erin gets a call from Jayson (Matt Long), who is asking her out on a date. They go out to eat and to a movie. Everything is going great, until Jayson's mom/Erin's professor, Prof. Burke (Annie Potts)-who is not a big fan of Erin in class...yet ends up the exact opposite outside of class. Meanwhile, Luke joins a band, Black Hazel.

Ep9: Enough Is Enough:
Jake and Nick are not fond of Jayson, who secretly is just using her to get his controlling mom off his back (as she is hounding him to get a girlfriend). The guys tell Erin, who questions Jayson, who tells the truth. Erin dumps Jayson in front of everyone (his mom, Nick, Jake, Luke and his band).

Ep10: Busy Day:
Black Hazel's (Luke's band) first gig happens to be the same day as Erin and Coach Mel's dance team's district competition. Black Hazel is offered another gig at The Loft-a college campus-like hangout for college-aged kids to hangout with friends. Meanwhile, Coach Mel, Erin, and the team go out and celebrate winning second place (out of 12 other teams).

Ep11: Penn State Letter:
Jake receives a letter from Kerry, who is considering transferring at semester to Michigan Tech. Jake gets all excited and can't wait to see Kerry again. Meanwhile, Nick secretly realizes he has strong feelings for his roommate and friend, Erin.

Ep12: Seductive Professor:
Luke get seduced by Professor Graham (Nicholette Sheridan), his Music Lit professor. Caught up in it all, Luke spends the night at Prof. Graham's house to wake up hungover and in bed with her. Meanwhile, Jake enlists Erin and Nick to help him clean the house up for when Kerry comes to prove that there is room for her to move in with the four of them.

Ep13: Parental Visit:
Nick's parents, Joe and Tracy (Tim Daly, Teri Hatcher) drop by to spend the weekend with Nick and his friends before they head off to their Caribbean Cruise to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary. Meanwhile, Luke tells Erin and Jake about his affair with Prof. Graham. Erin is disappointed in Luke, as Jake applauds Luke for laying the hot professor.

Ep14: Kerry DeWitt:
Kerry (Harshman) arrives. Jake and the gang convinces her to move in with them. Kerry moves her stuff into Erin's room. Meanwhile, Luke tells Nick that he fears that Prof. Graham could be pregnant, after she is seen by a fellow classmate at the drugstore buying a pregnancy test.

Ep15: Pregnant Professor:
Professor Graham tells Luke she is indeed pregnant with his child. Luke is stunned and speechless. Luke tells Nick, Erin, Jake, and Kerry his god-awful news. The gang thinks Luke should be there for Prof. Graham, and not leave her alone with a kid. Luke decides to propose to Prof. Graham.

Ep16: Age Differences:
Prof. Graham turns down the proposal, yet wants him to be a part of her and the baby's lives. Luke is more than happy to hear that. Meanwhile, Jake and Kerry go out to the movies-afterwards, they decide to rekindle their broken relationship (start off where they left off).

Ep17: Locking Of Doors:
One morning, Nick accidently walks in on Erin in the shower. Nick can't help but think dirty thoughts about Erin now. Meanwhile, Prof. Graham confesses to Luke that he is not the father of her baby, after she has Luke do a paternity test. Luke is relieved that he is not the actual father, as are his friends.

Ep18: True Reason:
Kerry's dad, Jack (Ted McGinley) pay a visit, and is more than happy to find out that Kerry and Jake are back together. Jack spills the beans about Kerry's old boyfriend at Penn State (which was her actual reason for transferring back by Jake). Jake is stunned to hear this, and that Kerry never told him.

Ep19: Kerry and Jake:
Kerry confesses to Jake that she did have a boyfriend while she was at Penn State, yet he dumped her for another girl, which made her heartbroken. Kerry decided to transfer back to be with Jake. Jake is not as upset yet wonders why she didnt tell him sooner or at all. Meanwhile, Nick takes Luke's advice on pursueing his dream of going out with Erin.

Ep20: Make Dreams Happen: (Season One Finale)
Erin gets asked out by a guy in her Psych class. Nick is hurt to learn that Erin has a date with another guy. Erin goes out on the date with the other guy, Erin realizes Nick is following her and her date. After the date, Erin confronts Nick-he confesses his feelings to Erin--resulting in Erin passionately kissing Nick. Jake, Kerry, and Luke oversee Erin and Nick's passionate kiss.
