Default Sitcom Maids/Butlers/HouseKeepers?

Ok so Basiclly list who should have had a house keeper and who shouldn't have.

Who Should:
The Huxtibles. I think It would have added more chemistry if they brought this person in during like the fifth season and that way kept her till the end they would have to bring in new characters no one liked.

Who Shouldn't:
The Bradys. I don't care what you say they didn't diserve Alice. I think its funny how they wanted to continue it with new shows but they never thought to spin alice off.

Cool

I think The Partridge Family should've had a maid/butler. First of all, as a single mother, Shirley could of used the help. Secondly it would of raised their profile as celebrities (they were in showbiz after all).

As for who shouldn't have hired help, I would like to nominate the Tate family from Soap. I think it would have been hilarious to see them have to do things for themselves instead of depending on Benson!!

I agree with you on the Brady Bunch. Alice deserved better, and Carol should have got off her useless ass and did some work. All she was there was to greet the kids coming and going to school. She didn't even have a job!

Also, Who's the Boss? I know that it was in the title, but they really need an ex-boxer keeping house with a young girl and boy? How come Mona couldn't do it?

Who should have: Married with Children. I know the Bundy's weren't rich, but they needed a sane person keeping that family together. Peg couldn't cook and nobody cleaned up. It probably wouldn't be funny, but they could have used one.

I also think the Huxtables should have needed a help in the house. Cliff was a doctor and Claire was a lawyer, and they had five children! Even if the children maybe started helping out more as they grew older, I still can't figure out how they both could have busy career jobs and still raise five children, not to mention Olivia and Pam in the end, AND keep that house tidy. They should have hired someone instead of buying expensive paintings and records. And yes, this may be a little off topic, but I just have to say, that I might be the only one in the world, who actually liked Pam.

the Huxtables; it would have made the show realistic. I mean, c'mon, how could there house ALWAYS be tidy when Clair was a lawyer and Cliff was a doctor??

I was thinking maybe Full House but I think Danny would be so neuortic that the maid would go crazy and quit!

Though I do see where you guys come from with Mrs. Brady and Alice. But I always thought that Alice was the comedienne source of the show. I don't think Carol had much personality. So without her it, I think, some of the funny stuff would be gone.
