Default The Keatons and the Wilkersons?

I don't know if anyone here watches "Malcolm in the Middle", but I've just started getting into the show, and I wondered how Malcolm's family and the Keaton family would get on if they ever met.

I'm not at all sure what the Keatons would make of them, to be honest. For the most part, Steven, Elyse, Alex, Mallory, Jennifer and Andy are a normal family, whereas Malcolm and the others...aren't. I think Steven and Elyse might become friendly with Hal, but I think they might be rather shocked at the way Lois deals with the kids (and also a little stunned at the kids' behaviour some of the time.)

I can also see the two geniuses of the families, Alex and Malcolm, each trying to prove they're smarter than each other. I think Jennifer and Andy would be friendly with Dewey (I'm thinking earlier seasons here, when Dewey was very young) and I could even see Mallory developing a crush on numbskull Reese!

I'd also feel very sorry for Skippy if he came along...just imagine what Reese would do to him!

I wonder how they would get along? I have never seen Malcom in the Middle so I don't know about them. I don't really think that I want to see it.

I hope you don't mind me asking, Classicshowsgurl, but why do you think you wouldn't want to see it? It's quite a funny programme. I'd recommend you watching a few episodes, some of the earlier ones, if possible, as they're regarded as the better ones.

I agree. Its a funny show. The one where Francis gets distracted by every single thing possible instead of doing his research assignment. That is my life in a 1/2 hour episode.

Definately something to check out.
