Default Who else thought that in the theme song...

...it was "so wuppon your feet"?

This is it. This is it.
This is life, the one you get
So go and have a ball.

This is it. This is it
Straight ahead and rest assured
You can’t be sure at all.

So while you’re here enjoy the view
Keep on doing what you do
So hold on tight we'll muddle through
One day at a time, One day at a time.

So up on your feet. Up on your feet
Somewhere there’s music playing.
Don’t you worry none
We’ll just take it like it comes.

One day at a time, one day at a time.
One day at a time, one day at a time.
One day at a time, one day at a time.
One day at a time, one day at a time.

Sorry - you're on your own there Bri - I always heard it as "up on your feet".

Uh... I always heard it as "so wuppon your feet". I had no idea what it meant, but then I never was up on the cool slang of the day. (Or is that, wuppon the cool slang...?).

Either way, it was a catchy tune.

Yes, I know. I think Phillips and Bertinelli also thought that it was wuppon as well.

Ahhh - I still love ya - just heard it right all along. It does sound slurred though so I can see where someone would hear it as "wuppon"!

I guess I was busy still trying to figure out All In The Family's "Gee our old Lasalle ran great"!!

When I was a kid watching it in syndication I sometimes thought it could be wuppon, and yeah, I could just imagine it being slang since there seemed to be a lot of cool slang terms from the 70's.

I thought it was funny that during the reunion both Valerie and Macenzie admitted that they never knew the words to their own show's theme song... wonder who else that's happened with over the years...

Wonder if Bob Denver knows the lyrics to "The Good Guys" theme? THAT was a cool theme song

I always thought it was: "So walk on your street..." I never could figure out the lyrics, especially at the beginning of the song. I thought it was: "This is life, the one you get, so keep your shirt on!" LOL! Thanks to a piano book of theme songs and later the Internet, I was able to finally learn the correct words.
