Has anyone ever been to a CUDDLE PARTY? LOL - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I was watch this UPN version of The "VIEW" called Life and Style, and they had a feature Story on CUDDLE PARTIES. You pay $30 to cuddle with complete strangers and this type of party is usually for single people who feels the need to be touched.lol This has to be the most pathetic, pointless social event I ever heard of in my life. If I'm paying $30 I want to do more than Hug-LOL These parties are in NYC. They are defintely not in Philly

Isn't this the same thing as taking Ecstasy and going to a club? I heard that's what Ecstasy does - you want to be touched and it doesn't matter how or where, it just feels so good. I've heard it makes people do some pretty strange things just to be touched.

Hell - save the $30 - and just take a ride on the New York subway system at rush hour - same thing!!

And this guy was at the party asking a female for her number and she said no-LOL So he left because he thought the purpose of the Party was to meet someone not just go there and HUG!

ONe Female at the Party said that she would be home some nights and hugging her pillow and wished it was a real person.lol So that's why she went. I saw girls hugging other girls-lol I didn't see any guys hugging other guys. That was a relief
