Everyone on GI was in some way out of the ordinary except skipper, gilligan was funny but stupid at times, mr howel was in love with his money mrs howel was kinda ditzy, ginger was so into herself, maryann was kinda wirey the professor was so scientific you couldnt understand him most of the time.
But the skipper was a normal guy and so down to earth anyone could have related to him, maby thats 1 reason why alot of us loved him so much.

I agree. If it came down to who was the most ordinary people on that island, in my opinion, it would be in this order:

Skipper
Mary Ann
Mrs. Howell
Professor
Ginger
Mr. Howell
Gilligan
