There are three places on my shelf
but one of them is bare
I wanna sing along to Hamlet
and watch Gilligan lose his hair

but I'm waitin'
waitin' for July 26th
when I'll eat chop suey, dixie style
and radioactive vegetable stew
I got the waitin' on the third season blues

I wanna swim in the lagoon
And wander among the huts
Catch a pussycat swallowtail
And rob Fort Knox of its coconuts

When I’ll strap on my jet pack
And have a laser pocketknife to use

An explosive plastic moment
The hardest game of all.
In July it'll be there waitin'
July 26th as I recall.
