Ok, we all know 8 Simple Rules has been cancelled....but I'm just curious-- if it were to be released on DVD, who would buy it?

I would for the John Ritter episodes alone. I know that sounds bad, but I don't have any sort of dire need to see the other cast members in action.

Who else would buy these DVDs?

I would buy all the seasons. For John Ritter of course, and I like the show. I know all of you don't like the show after John died, but I sort of like the episodes with Spade and Garner. So I would buy them all.

That's cool....I honestly haven't seen any episodes

I saw ONE once(without John) and it was pretty good. I just dunno if I wanna spend $40+ on Season 3 if I'm not sure I'll like all of it.

Yeah, I saw an episode after John and I thought it was good. I really like the show. I don't think it would be that expensive, would it? And I would probably wait a while until the price drops.

Hmm, actually, if anything I think the John Ritter episodes might be a little high priced considering the demand. But you never know. I just hope they release them

I didn't really like the show all that much, I just watched it every week because John was in it. After he passed away, there was no reason for me to continue watching the show, so after the "Goodbye" episode, I stopped watching. I remember seeing one or two episodes of the show after John was gone, and IMO, they weren't very good at all. Totally bored me to sleep. When John died, the show died with him, and it completely lost it's spark. With that said, I would only buy season one, which is the full season that John was in. He was in the first three episodes of season two, but I have those on DVD already, and I wouldn't spend money on that season to get the rest of the episodes that have no interest to me.

I never watched the episodes with John in them because I always had something else on at that time. But I would just buy the episodes with him on them if they were released. So don't worry I do not think that that is bad to just buy the episodes that have John in them. (Maybe it is bad but I do not think so.)

P.S. I did not know that 8 Simple Rules was cancelled.
