Default Name some shows or dramas you liked when you were younger and now you can't get into

For me it's
The Dukes of Hazzard
A-Team
Knight Rider

I grew up with these shows and loved them to death when they were on. Recently, I tried to watch them all and I couldn't. I looked back at the Dukes and I didn't realize how phony the background and layout was. But people grow out of things. These shows will always have a special place in my heart though.

For Me It's:
Full House
Family Matters
Clarissa Explains It All
Sabrina The Teenage Witch...

I have nothing but respect for Full House and Family Matters because both shows are great sitcoms. I remember when I was younger those were the sitcoms I couldnt miss. But now its hard to watch, and get into. Clarissa Explains It All, I must of been on something because that show is that good and the only reason I was into Sabrina The Teenage Witch was because of the Cat, it was funny..

I agree...I have a lot of respect for Full House, as I LOVED it as a child and could never miss it, but now, I realize why my parents would always tease me and tell me it was corny. Things just turn out too "perfectly" at the end of each episode and it's so phony that even if one of the girls gets in trouble and gets grounded, the confrontation always ends with a hug!

"The Addams Family"-I used to like this show, in fact when TBS showed a marathon of it one Saturday night back in 1993 (they showed it to cooinside with an "The Addams Family" movie) I stayed up and watched as many episodes as I could, and when they added it to their weeknight schedule, I would watch it whenever I could, but when TV LAND started to show it, I could only watch one episode, and that was enough!

"Gillagens Island"

"Threes Company"

"Hogans Heroes"

"Phyliss"-short-lived spin off of "The Mary Tyler Moore show that lasted one season in 1978

"Rhoda"

Wow, I'm surprised so many people are saying Sabrina, I've liked that show for years now, and I still find it hilarious.

Anyway I used to like Boy Meets World alot. I don't hate the show but I find it pretty annoying.

Me too. It's stupid. Also I can't stand Saved by the Bell or Family Matters anymore.

Duck Tails. I was so obsessed with it when I was 7, 8, 9. Somewhere in there. I tried watching it one night and was bored to death.
