He did more than say, "I want my daddy's records" Most of his lines fed off of Fred's conversation and with others telling him how stupid he was. Grady was more stupid than him. In that episode when Fred was receiving an award for junkman of the year, Bubba was speaking publicly and I noticed he had a great talent for words. It was like they let him go ahead and let him say something on his own. His real talent came out during that speech. I was like, man they didn't use Bubba right. Plus, he didn't slur like Grady. Don Bexley was good enough to be at least a second banana.

Bubba did convince Fred to fake whiplash too.....

I agree he wasn't used right.

bubba was a pretty good speaker, they shouldve used him more.

Hola!

Bubba was probably Fred's most intellegent friend, and a voice of reason in his life. Poor Grady was more or less ********, who laughed at Fred's jokes and observations. Plus Grady must of been the most honest of his friends, because Fred entrusted him with his "Empire" while he was back in St. Louis.

I've seen most of season 6 and in at least 2 shows Don Bexley messes up his lines (they show him in close up like he's reading the script).

Was'nt his character know as Bubba Hoover in at least a couple of the early episodes?
