Season 2 - edits? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

It seems to me that all of the episodes on the DVD collections are unedited, restoring several bits and pieces that were lost over the years in syndication. However, something strikes me funny about the S2 ep, "Ladies of the Evening." When Sophia says, at the beginning of the episode, something to the effect of ""I'm tired of being the Tonto of the group. I missed Evita!", I seem to remember there being more to that last line. Wasn't it, "I missed Evita starring Ruth Buzzi!"? Can anyone confirm for me if this line was cut from the episode?

Also, am I the only one who noticed there are no chapter stops this time around? I love the theme song but would not like to have to hear it every time, haha.

You may be mixing up Evita references.

In Ladies of the Evening, Sophia says, "I missed Evita!"

In the fourth season episode, Yes, We Have No Havanas, Sophia says, "Fidel is taking me to the Burt Reynolds dinner theatre to see Ruth Buzzi in Evita!"

unfortunately, i still dont have my season 2 set.

I've watched the first two discs (will watch disc 3 soon) and every episode thus far has clocked in around 24 minutes, which is standard for a half-hour show from the mid-1980's.
