Default We don't have no more Laurie

We don't have any actresses to play Laurie anymore. It's been said that it's highly doubtful Lisa Robin Kelly will ever return and Christina Moore is now on a new show on the UPN and she has brown hair now! Unless the blond was dyed just so she could play the part, but let me say this her acting is a lot better now and she wasn't bad on the show, but while watching it I thought her playing Laurie wasn't at all that bad. And now we don't have either actress to play her during the 8th season, I just hope to god they don't go for a 3rd actress. Oh well at least Leo is coming back again.

It's too bad that Lisa Robin Kelly left the show. Replacing her with Christina wasn't a good idea, since by then Laurie really wasn't given that much to do. Since Laurie hasn't been mentioned that much since Miss Moore's brief stint, it looks like Laurie is pulling a Chuck Cunningham.

i miss lisa alot as ive said before .so much so that other people here will scream if they read it again no matteer what problems she had or still may have when she was on that stage she had a nack for making laurie a fun and even somewhat likeable charther she really made laurie her own just like larry hagman as jr and carroll oconnor as archie bunker on paper they are 2 really nasty villans but something in the way these actors portrayed them made them special and lisa did the same with laurie she brought that trademark smirk and that cat that swallowed the canaray look that she would get every time she caused somebody pain im not sure anybody else would bring that same sense of fun to laurie . but has anybody else noticed that since she left they have tried to bring other laurielike villians into the mix and they for some reason they just dont work first they had casey kelso and he was just a total jerk with no redeeming qualites and this past year they brought in hydes sister angie but im not really sure why she didnt work i do wish lisa would if shes up to it come back at least for a guest shot to wrap up her storyline and give her a proper sendoff im sure all of lisas fans here would love to see that happen i for one would be thrilled sorry for such a long post

The thing is, the second Laurie could have given the performance of a lifetime and we wouldn't have been able to acknowledge it. Heck, given some of the material she had, she probably was giving an excellent performance. It's hard to enjoy poor scripts even with great actors.

If the show ends without a Lisa Robin Kelly appearance, something will be missed.

I've always felt when the original Laurie actress left the show it sort of marked a point when the show went down hill. I certainly can't say that WAS the reason but it is a definate marker or reference point...to me anyway.

I would fully expect that Topher Grace, Lisa Robin Kelly, and Tanya Roberts will all be in the finale.

How hard can it be to have them appear in one episode?
(and the latter two aren't doing much these days).

you know i thought of something the other day we have not had a 70s show with the complete orignal cast since ice shack aired in jan of 01 that was the last show in lisa's first run on the show and tayna left not long after that . we all know that they have both returned to the show at different times but there were only 63 eps that had what we all consider the whole cast before it becamme splintered

I agree...There were funny episodes but it lost the magic, for sure.
