Research Topic - Wireless Security

ATTENTION ALL COMPUTER PEEPS

I have to do a research project and present it to the class at the end of the semester. My topic is due next week. This paper has to have something to do with Wireless Security. I am looking for something basic, so that I can be very knowledgeable in it by the end of my research because there is a question/answer period I have to go through at the end of my presentation. So my question to you all is, what should I do it on?

man, where to start?


you could talk about all the different methods used for each protocol...

the differences in security between the different versions 802.11b/802.11a/802.11g and what's coming in the future like 802.11i

or the steps you could take to secure your wireless network (WPA, MAC filtering etc...)

talk about 802.11i was one of my topics i thought about doing

also i thoguht about the Federal Agencies, in the past couple of weeks they've been busted for not having their security up to par... i thought it might be interesting following that story and finding out what they are going to do, how they are going to do it, when, etc...
