If luke met up with a young anakin skywalker do you think luke could take him? i know they made anakin look like a stronger jedi but remember they have much better special affects now then they did when episode VI
(Return of the jedi) came out, I think in my opinion givin the same abilitys luke had when he cut off vaders hand in return, I think he could have taken anakin even when anakin was young.

And besides darth sidias
(if thats how its spelt) aka the emperor is always looking for a young jedi to make his aprentice thats 1 reason why I think he wanted luke to kill vader in return of the jedi and the emperor must have known that luke was stronger.

I think Anakin and Luke are pretty similar on scale of power. But remember, Anakin was trained from a young age. Luke didn't start training until much later in life.

Luke's knowledge of the force is considerably limited compared to Anakins professional knowledge. Anakin even had more experience using the force due to the Clone Wars.

In a battle between young Anakin and Luke, Anakin would win.

Young Annakin woud probably win that battle. Eps 1-3 have had some amazing saber fights. Annakin and Obi-Wan could really kick some butt.

As I remember it in episode 6 return of the jedi luke sliced off vaders/anakins hand with his light saber and had him where he could have killed him, maby the younger anakin could have taken luke but not the older anakin as darth vader. once luke became a jedi that was it vader was 2nd.

And I used to think that the emperor had the greatest powers but it apears yoda had more.

Anakin might have had his moments but I think Luke was the real chosen one. It was he who restored order in the Galaxy and saved Anakin in the process.
