Default If You Were A Star Would You Marry One?

I would not marry a star if i were one myself Id want a reationship that lasted a lifetime and you cant get that in hollywood, for all the stars that date eachother and split after a small experience you cant tell me that they are happy. maby I dont have the money or fame that they have but then again I dont have the misery either.

Celebrity relationships rarely last. I would imagine I'd just see what happens.

There have been celebrity relationships that lasted, it just hasn't happened too often recently. If I were a celebrity, I wouldn't close myself off from finding the one just because statistically the majority of the marriages don't work. My celebrity partner and I could be the exception. Who knows.

Do celebrity marriages last longer when they marry non celebrities?

I know that DeForest Kelley and his wife, Carolyn were very happy. They married before he became famous.

Though I'm not sure Mr. Kelley would be a good example, because he was a very private man. I think a major reason why famous marriages fail is because of all the pressure that comes with celebrity status. Bring together two people of popularity, and the pressure is doubled.

Plus if both are very busy actors travelling all over the globe shooting or promoting thier films, when do they have time to be together?

Well there was robert urich who was married to heather menzies till his death and she was an actress even starred in some of his shows, then you have susanne somers who is with allan hamill who basically just did commercials back in the 70s for a supermarket but he was an actor though not a very good one, Then you have patrick swayze and his wife who have been togather for many years but she is not an actress and I think mel gibson has been with his wife for many years who is not an actress, Then you have 1 of todays greatest actors whos wife is an actress thats tom hanks and rita wilson but they manage to keep their marriage out of the spotlight. The marriage of tony curtis and janet leigh (jamie lees mom and dad) was forced by the studio they worked for because of rumours of tony
curtis being a homo sexual.

Michael J. Fox and his wife Tracy Pollan have been married for 14 years and counting... (just thought I'd bring that up. )

Okay I might marry a star if I was one as long as they were nice to the waiter.
A person who is nice to u and not the waiter is not a nice person.
