One of rock legend SIR PAUL McCARTNEY'S bandmembers committed a royal faux-pas at QUEEN ELIZABETH II's Jubilee concert in London in 2003.
The former BEATLE was among a number of rock legends invited to perform to celebrate the monarch's 50th year on the British throne, including OZZY OSBOURNE, BRIAN WILSON and BRIAN MAY - but it seems not all the musicians were familiar with all the royal family. Ozzy reveals, "One of Paul McCartney's band members asked PRINCESS ANNE, 'Hey what do you do here?' She replied: 'Good question, actually, my mother lives here.'" 24/05/2005 13:39 http://www.contactmusic.com/new/xmlf...0royal%20gaffe |
