This is what Nick at Nite & TVLand should do!! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Since there are run by the same company. Nick at nite should be all comedy
make TvLand all drama and add a new new station for action/sf!
example:
nick at nite runs 3's company,all in the family,munsters,andy,lucy.etc

tvland1 runs drama, kojak,baretta,starsky & hutch,mannix,gunsmoke,bonanza,cannon,streets of san fran,swat,etc.

tvland2 runs action/science fiction, batman,superman, green hornet,lois and clark,greatest american hero,captain nice,star trek,lost in space,land of the giants,voyage,twilight zone.

***don't bring up the sci/fi channel cause that station is crap and they play all newly made shows now!***

Considering that sitcoms generally bring in the best ratings and Nick@Nite is only a 9 hour channel, that would not work out very well.

I agree with you eddie how ever i wouldn't exactlydo your network setups this is what i would do.

TV Land 1 - All New Shows on Tv Land Would Be On Here Including all Origanal Programming

TV Land 2 - All Previous Shows That Aired on TV Land 1 ( Maybe Even A TV Land 3 with The Same Format

Nick@Nite PrimeTime (A.K.A. 9-6 on Nick) - All New N@N Shows and Original Programming but instead of having the same schedule every night it will be a nightly change in the 9-12 schedule. Example: Monday you have fresh Prince Cosby and Murphy Tuesday its full House whos the boss and roseanne and that way they will be able to have more shows. and from 12-6 it will be the same thing every nite.

The Nick@Nite Channel (A.K.A. Nick@Nite All Day Long) - Plays all sitcoms ever aired on N@N and even occasionally the ones that are on normally.

I think this could work and i know they have the Money to cause they already got Nick, Nick 2, Nick Toons, Nick GaS, and The N/Noggon so they have plenty of money to make this happen

It would be impossible for them to air every show they ever aired. Nick GaS and those other channels cost next to nothing since all of the shows on those channels are OWNED by Nick already.

You mean...kinda like what Encore has? Yeah, it's been done.
