Season Finale

What did everyone think of the season finale?

The storyline I liked the best was between Maya and Darnell. Congrats on them getting back together.

Lynn used to be one of my fave characters, but since she met Finn, she truly started trippin. What happened to her? I think she compeletly made a fool out of herself. I felt embrassed for her as I watched her try her best to get Finn to like her. I don't even think it was even that serious. She should have left him the first time she found out about the other women.

I wonder if Todd will come back next season? I think Toni will be just fine as a mother.

Joan and William slept together. Their expressions were hilarious!

Yeah Lynn made a straight fool out of herself, there's no way she would have put up with that last season. I really want William and Joan to get together, I think they would be so perfect for each other. I had a feeling that Maya and Darnell would get back together. In the episode "Were Everyone Knows My Name" you could tell that they still loved each other. I never cared about Toni and Todd she changed once she got with him, she became a bit "weak". IMO anyway

i liked Mya and Darnell getting back together......i don't want to see Joan with William, i don't think they work as a couple.....only as best friends.........i would really like to see her end up with Brock.............

Mya & Darnell got back together huh? I saw a commercial for season finale for Girlfriends & i saw Mya stand up at Darnell's wedding so she could get his attention. The girl who Darnell was about to marry, she played in the movie Hav Plenty. She's very attractive. She was also in r&b singer Joe's More Than A Woman video. I don't think Joan & William should be together either. What happened to William's ex girlfriend that was a police officer? I think she was William's type. I saw her in Hair Show movie with Monique & Kellita Smith. She had a big afro in the movie. Who is Lynn's man? Is her man the dude that's celibate?

Lynn joined this band that sings offbeat form of music. The dude she like is some black british punk-like performer. Ugly as hell as well!! William's girfriend left him standing at the alter seasons ago. They were a good couple! I hated that it ended that way. I never thought Mya and Darnell should have broke up! I thought they were a great couple, I was happy that things turned out the way they did. By the way did you see the BIG grin on Jabari's face when Mya left?? William and Joan.. no good!!! Toni and Todd.. never understood the relationship period!!!

I don't watch the show all the time, but I really liked this episode. It was funnier than I expected.

Ugh, I despide Lynn's ugly bandmate. I miss her poet man.

I'm glad to see Maya and Darnell back together. I also wish Greg and Toni could get back together - I miss the two of them when they were getting along. How did that relationship end? Anybody know?

Toni cheated on Greg with Clay (the doctor). And Toni ends up getting chylamdia from Clay. So Toni told Greg that she had chylamdia, and she told him that he gave it to her, when in fact Clay gave it to her. So Greg went and got checked and he didn't have chylamdia. So to make a long story short Joan told Greg about Clay by accident kinda, because Joan thought that Toni had already told Greg about Clay but she hadn't, And so Greg broke up with Toni.

Did that confuse you LOL

I happened to know that part - but I remember that Greg and Toni hooked back up for another episode after that whole fiasco didn't he? Maybe I'm confused.

Yeah they got back together for half a episode when Joan was having her Halloween party and her and Toni wasn't on speaking terms. Anyway Greg asked Toni to go to the store to get a pumpkin so they could carve it and when Toni got back home from the store Greg was on the couch with another woman on top of him. And he said pay back, and so she told him to leave, then it cut to Toni sitting outside Joans door with a pumpkin in a shopping cart crying.

The Series Finale

I actually enjoyed the series finale of Girlfriends for many reasons.

Lynn & Finn - I like the development we see in Lynn. She has feelings, and she can love. Being with Finn wasn't about something sexual for her, she actually had genuine feelings of love for someone. She is developing and growing up with the show, which is a smart move.

Toni/Todd & the baby
I hope that Toni realizes that she doesn't need a man to save her. I think that this is the story line they were aiming for, especially with the things the nurse was telling her.

Maya & Darnell
Finally!!!! Maya has found herself. It took her and Darnell breaking up for them to ge their lives together. Now he's going to take her home. How cute.

Joan & William
Well--we all learned from Yvonne that William is PACKING. Maybe this is the wake-up call that Joan needs, so she can get her life together.

I just hope they don't ruin the show by adding a 5th girlfriend to the mix. (Shar Jones from Moesha)

I understand where they were going with the story, but it also made Lynn look kind of desperate. Lynn was like that in other seasons. The one thing I liked about Lynn was the fact that she was a free spirit.
