Anyone Remember Let's Go to the Races? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Anyone remember a syndicated show in the mid to late 70s titled Let's Go to the Races? The show was actually franchised like bozo the Clown and Romper Room where local supermarkets sponsored the show and gave away game cards to participants who could win cash if the horse number on their card matched the winning horse in a filmed race. The show was also known as TV Twin Double.

TeleCom Productions, the company that produced Let's Go to the Races, is still in business today, manufacturing instant lottery games. The show's opening still sticks in my head more than 25 years later:

Let's go for action
Let's go for excitement
Let's Go to the Races.

I remember that one! There were a couple of times in the 80's when they had that in our area, sponsored by either Winn-Dixie or Giant.
