Bonanza is an outstanding series that deserves season dvds released. The dvds that are out have way too few episodes on them. This classic series is not being given justice by the dvd companies. Hope it changes before too long.

I can't figure this out either. With The Big Valley the same problem is around. The best of sets annoy me and I heard most of the quality is beyond horrible. Perhaps they think it wouldn't sell, but it's obviously viable enough to stay on TV all these years!

yes, I can't figure that out, either. They're doing the same thing with "Gunsmoke". Maybe it's because both series were on for so long, they don't think season sets would sell well? (well, that makes sense to me!)

Im guessing the major fan base of bonazna and gunsmoke are of an older generation and seasn sets just wouldnt sell enough to do them.I assume the majorty of the people who watch it are satisfied to just see it on tv and would not be running out to buy dvd sets. As much as i would buy the sets just to have all them,i just dont see it happening
