...does a good job remastering the Season 2 episodes for DVD.
I'm worried about 3 things. 1. Will they remove Fred Gwynne's singing of "Dry Bones" in ep 50. 2. Will they remove Eddie's "Carnival in Venice" in ep 62. 3. They need to take extra special care of ep 63, because I've noticed that ep 63 seems to shake and won't hold still. Even in the TV Land copies, I've noticed that episode to shake and not hold still. After all, other shows have seasons and seasons worth of episodes. We Munsters fans only have 2, so I think we deserve the highest qaulity available. |

i think so, the episodes were uncut for season one. dont worry so much about it, im sure we'll again get a good treatment by universal. im really getting anxious about hearing of the extras! (and seeing the cover art)

I don't know anything yet about cover art, but I do know a little something about extras. I believe what Universal is going to do is that they are going to add the America's First Family of Fright DVD set onto the S2 DVD. That's what I assume since The America's.. DVD was cancelled by Image a few months ago. |

As of May 5th, Bonnie Vent, (Butch Patrick's manager,) posted on Butch's Message Board that the budget still hasn't been set for the second season. Hope they hurry or there'll be a delay in getting it done for the Sept release.
Bonnie supplied us with the October, then September date. I'm certainly not doubting her, but I haven't seen confirmation anywhere else, (like TVShowsOnDVD.com.) We'll have to wait and see. About the Image DVD, I mailed them and asked about it. All they said in their reply was that, that title wasn't available at this time. I don't know if that means it 'will be available' at a different time... Again, we'll have to wait and see. Until then... ![]() My best, Dirt MunsterKoach.com |

Last year, we didn't get word about cover art till June of '04, that was two months before the release of Season 1. So I assume it will be July of '05 till we get word of cover art for Season 2.
One thing I am looking forward to doing, is, throwing out my old edited TV Land copies. Or I might give them away. I don't know. I sure as heck can't wait to see the unedited footage! And finally, finally, episode 53 will be available to the open market. ![]() ----- I just checked TVShowsOnDVD.com. The Munsters is the 240th most wanted show on DVD. That's excellent considering the thousands and thousands of TV shows out there. This proves people really want The Munsters on DVD! ![]() Amazon.com Sales Rank (for Season 1) #2,480 in DVD. |
