Nancy Dussault - Too Close for Comfort. Nancy is an excellent comic actress with an ability to do comedy but her part on Too Close for Comfort was underwritten. They caused more harm by making her character pregnant in order to beef up her part. Nancy was unhappy with the underdevelopment of the character, Muriel Rush, in the first season.

Katey Segal - Eight Simple Rules. Her character was underwritten during the first season when John Ritter was on the show. She is an excellent sitcom actress and she was still underwritten after John died. It would had been great to see her perform comedy with John when he was on the show. Katey was hot on Married with Children.

"Too Close for Comfort" I must have seen that a gazillion times but, apart from the name, I can't recall a visual on it. Was Valerie Bertinelli in it?
