I'm hoping some of you caught this case on Lifetime today or remember it from a previous airing. Jeanie Moore disappeared after visiting a Laughlin, Nevada casino with her fiance. He claims he had nothing to do with her disappearance but the story he gave police about her whereabouts on the morning she went missing can't be verfied by the casino's security cameras. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this case. Do you think the fiance was responsible for her disappearance? If so, what was his motive for getting rid of her and how could he have disposed of the body?

where there is some question as to the principal person's guilt in the segment in this case being the elderly fiance I often look at it that if this was a "Final Appeals" segment would I feel this person was guilty. In this case there are just too many inconsistancies with his story and the facts of the case. I think it was even mentioned his story changed a number of times from what he told police to what he told UM. A motive could be very simple: Jean Moore could have simply called off the engagement sending her fiance into a rage resulting in her death. It could have even been that he didn't intend to kill her but they got into a scuffle and Jean died during that scuffle. As for the disposing of her body Nevada has a lot of land that is just vast desert - they are not kidding when they say if you even are remotely aware of the area you can dispose of something (be it treasure, evidence or a body) and it will never ever be found.
This case also reminds of the Timothy McClure case which also involved the murder of someone (in this case McClure's elderly mother) in or around a casino. The thing is that in both cases casinos are so well equipped with security cameras just for management purposes that their dragnet is nearly foolproof. I doubt Jean Moore was in the casino on the day her fiance said she was - I beileve it's just a story. As for "looking like someone" who would murder another person - Stuart Heaton doesn't look anything like a murder, he is very clean cut yet many here have determined that he killed Crystal Nabb. Later. |

I made a similar point in another post recently. Someone posted a message, suggesting to the effect that we call the UM hotline to ask about the status of a particular case. I responded by making it very clear that the hotline is only for submitting tips on cases, and that if they want to contact UM for information on the status of a certain UM case, they must contact UM through email or snail mail. The hotline people would be very unhappy if they got flooded with petty calls when some important tips could have been coming through. |

i really wish we could get an update, this is one of those ones that really stands out to me....i don't want to believe Al had anything to do with it, I don't understand what his motive would be....i wonder if he's even still alive himself |

I found this thread searching....
I think her name is listed as Jean Moore as opposed to Jeanie? http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/...d.php?t=157773 |
