Post Jennifer's new look

Did u see the episode where Jennifer wanted to be in the cool crowd. Those girls were so.like.stupid! I remember trying to talk like that when I was 12 and getting laughed at.

I think that may have been their worst episode ever, at least the most embarrassing. You could pretty much guess the reasoning was that the producers (perhaps bugged by Yothers) were trying to give Jennifer a lead episode and someone foolishly suggested the material they used. It always seemed disconnected from every other episode of the series because of how the family wasn't really involved. Generally a character on a show has a problem and the rest of the regulars helps them out. This episode, though, was bogged WAY down by a ton of guest stars, like the cool clique, and the oft-mentioned but hardly seen over the years, Chrissy. And the stuff Yothers was given was just painful to watch. Then when Birney or Bateman would lapse into that "valley slang" it sounded awful. And since when are valley girls out in Ohio? Plus Gross acting like he's five when his puppets were being ridiculed. Most of all, a 13 year olds popularity problems isn't univerally appealing. They always did a great job with Alex when he was younger because, though he was a teenager, his dilemma was adult oriented.

Well, that's the end of my ramble.

This episode was actually very good I thought, the plot of giving Jewnnifer her own episode was excellent, but I think that it was overdone and overreacted by the end when they started drinking, they really didn't have to add some constroversal stuff to it, it was find as it was before.
