Default Characters jobs

Can someone please explain to me all of the characters jobs throughout the series, mainly Harriette, Eddie, Laura, and Steve. Thanks.

Thanks, but Carl was promoted to Captain in season 9, I just saw that eps yesterday.

Another thing, what's the name of the boss Harriette had who fired her in the 2nd eps? Was it the same one from PS?

Did Harriette always have 2 jobs at the chronicle on PS or was she just given a different job after she was fired in the 2nd eps?

In the second episode Harriette only had one job as the elevator operator. Then the chroncile got a self service elevator and Harriette was let go because they no longer needed her. Then she applied for another job at the chroncile and she got that job.

His character was on Perfect Stranger a few times, but if I remember right it was played by a different person on Perfect Stranger than the guy who played her boss on Family Matters.

I remember in the season 1 opening theme seeing Eddie bagging groceries where he works, but did they ever mention it on the show?

Yeah in one episode they mentioned it. He said that someone got fired and he was offered the job. On his apron it said ask us about our tomatoes. And the family was asking Eddie and he said "why does everyone keep asking me that?
