I don't really watch Malcolm, but now I'm assuming that this will be its final season. Usually, when FOX sends their shows off to Fridays, it's gone in the blink of an eye.

I hate the fact that Fox has to have two separate schedules because of American Idol, that is the reason FOX has not has any other hit shows outside of Idol since 2002.

I think FOX is a great network. Probably the 2nd or possibly the top network. FOX might of had a lot shows that were failures from 2002-2005, but to me that shows FOX isn't afraid to take chances and give people their big breaks. I believe putting Malcolm in the Middle and Bernie Mac on Fridays was brilliant because of the bonehead move ABC made by getting rid of TGIF, now fans who love TGIF can turn to FOX for great sitcom programing.

The only thing I hate about FOX is American Idol. Because of American Idol some of my favorite new shows were canceled because of its huge ratings.

Other than that.. this looks like a great schedule.. and FOX looks to have a huge 2005-2006.

FOX ANNOUNCES NEW PRIMETIME SLATE FOR 2005-2006 SEASON

FIVE NEW DRAMAS AND TWO NEW COMEDIES JOIN FALL SCHEDULE

New York (Thursday, May 19, 2005) – FOX today unveiled its primetime schedule for the 2005-2006 television season, featuring a balanced and stable slate of cutting-edge dramas, innovative comedies and dynamic unscripted series. Five new dramas and two new comedies will complement returning favorites on every night of the week, announced Peter Liguori, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

The new dramas premiering this fall are PRISON BREAK, BONES, HEAD CASES, REUNION and THE GATE (working title). The new comedies scheduled for fall debuts are KITCHEN CONFIDENTIAL and THE WAR AT HOME. Another new comedy, THE LOOP, will launch in January. Among the shows available at midseason are the new comedy FREE BIRDS and the unscripted series NANNY 911 and TRADING SPOUSES.

FOX shows returning in 2005-2006 include 24, AMERICAN DAD, AMERICAN IDOL, AMERICA'S MOST WANTED, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, THE BERNIE MAC SHOW, COPS, FAMILY GUY, HOUSE, KING OF THE HILL, MADtv, MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE, THE O.C., THE SIMPSONS, STACKED and THAT '70s SHOW.

"FOX has achieved an amazing set of milestones this season, including finishing as the No. 1 network in Adults 18-49 for the first time in the network's 19-year history. This success is a testament to the dedicated team at FOX," said Liguori. "Additionally, we're launching a bold, balanced and stable schedule. We'll have returning shows on all seven nights of the week, and we're scheduling 12 comedies this fall – far more than any network. There is no question that we plan to be aggressive and competitive with this spectacular and youthful year-round schedule."

The following new dramas will premiere on FOX this fall:

PRISON BREAK (Monday, 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT): MICHAEL SCOFIELD (Wentworth Miller, "The Human Stain") is a desperate man in a desperate situation. His brother, LINCOLN BURROWS (Dominic Purcell, "John Doe," "Blade: Trinity"), is on death row and scheduled to die in a few months for a murder Michael is convinced Lincoln did not commit. With no other options and time winding down, Michael holds up a bank to get himself incarcerated alongside his brother in Fox River State Penitentiary. Once he's inside, we learn that Michael – a structural engineer with the blueprints for the prison – has hatched an elaborate plan to break Lincoln out and prove his innocence. Senior correctional officer BELLICK (Wade Williams, "Collateral") offers some prison wisdom as Michael arrives. Then, with the help of his cellmate, SUCRE (Amaury Nolasco, "Mr. 3000"), Michael begins to align himself with a disparate group of prisoners, including former mob boss JOHN ABRUZZI (Peter Stormare, "Fargo," "Minority Report") and CHARLES WESTMORELAND (Muse Watson, "I Know What You Did Last Summer"), a man some believe to be the infamous skyjacker D.B. TEMPERANCE BRENNAN (Emily Deschanel, "Boogeyman"), who works at the Jeffersonian Institution and writes novels as a sideline, has an uncanny ability to read clues left behind in a victim's bones. Consequently, law enforcement calls her in to assist with murder investigations when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed that the standard identification methods are useless. Brennan's equally brilliant colleagues at the Jeffersonian's Medico-Legal Lab include earthy and bawdy ANGELA MONTENEGRO (Michaela Conlin, "The D.A."), who's created a unique way to render an original crime scene in a three-dimensional computer image; Brennan's assistant, ZACK ADDY (Eric Millegan), a young prodigy whose genius IQ actually gets in the way of his finishing the several doctorates he has begun; "the bug guy," DR. A low-rent lawyer who usually represents deviants and petty criminals, Shultz eagerly latches onto a very reluctant Jason, inserting himself in all aspects of Jason's personal and professional life. Intense and private, Hale is haunted by personal demons, and he chose this assignment after going AWOL for a year following his partner's death in the line of duty. Hale's new partner is rookie Detective AVA LYFORD (Marguerite Moreau, "Life As We Know It," THE O.C.), whose no-nonsense demeanor and by-the-book tenacity hide both her insecurities and her secrets. Back then, there were no "time-outs," no one had any "boundaries" and "parenting" wasn't even a word. Parents also had no idea what their kids were really up to; ignorance truly was bliss. Now Dave and Vicky have teenagers of their own, and anything their kids might even think about doing, Dave and Vicky have already done … at least twice. But knowledge isn't power – it's a giant pain! Every day is a battle to keep the kids in line. Chef JACK BOURDAIN (Bradley Cooper, "Alias," "I Want to Marry Ryan Banks") found enormous success at a young age, but his culinary genius also led to a lifestyle of boozing, womanizing and drugs. After hitting rock bottom and deciding to sober up, the only job he could get was slopping soggy pasta for the masses at a tacky opera-themed restaurant. Out of the blue, Jack is offered an opportunity to get back in the game as head chef at a top New York restaurant. THE LOOP (Wednesday, 9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT): As we reach our early 20s and face the daunting challenges of real life, there are those who choose to embark on a career path and those who'd rather goof off with pals. And then, every so often, there's someone who sets out to do both. Set in Chicago, THE LOOP is the story of SAM (Bret Harrison, "Grounded for Life"), the youngest executive at the corporate headquarters of a major airline, and the first of his friends to get a real job. He must find a way to straddle his serious career and the serious social demands of his roommates. One roommate, SULLY (Eric Christian Olsen, "Dumb and Dumberer," "Tru Calling"), is Sam's older and rowdier brother, whose casual attempts to hold down a series of odd jobs are eclipsed by his attempts to land women. The other roommate, PIPER, is a medical student, Sam's college pal and – unbeknownst to her – his longtime crush. He also meets up with former High School Big Man On Campus MARK DOVE (Dave Sheridan), and it's time to hit the wild parties ... or as wild as they get in a small Midwestern town.
