in the past i have been against smearing peoples names if they have a trade problem, with a few lessons recently in that department, i have gone a different direction

new policy, you steal from me, i am putting the facts in print and putting all you info for everyone to see,

the story. i made a rather small deal with a trader for 21 discs. i was to get a man called hawk and spenser for hire from a vhs transfer.

i sent my end on feb 22, i got a few emails that they were received, it was takeing longer that expected, many excuses.

a week ago i was notified that 1 of the discs i sent to them was a bad burn---and that they couldnt do spenser, so could i take a chico set in its palce.

they wanted me to send the one disc out right away--no sir , not until i get your package--i stated tha clearly. they sent the chico ,express mail, and i got it today.

well calling it crap would be very nice, it was far worse than crap, and of course no hawk set either.

an email to the party at their 3rd email addy so far--and i get dudes wife in the act now, with a totaly different set of excuses, and of course he must not have told her which excuses he used before.

whats the first word in the email---wheres my one disc you promised to send---i am now the crook

exactly how typical is this, is there a handbook for lame excuses and actions when confronted with the truth???

well i got hosed for 21 discs and postage, so about $ 8, i am not going to miss meals because of it, but i am really disapointed because it was one of my all time favorite shows, and its a pattern lately in some of my deals.

Loren is one of the best on these boards! too bad a small few will leave a bad taste in your mouth.

unfortunately, this one sided trade was made prior to my finding this board

as were a few others, as long as its not against the group rules, ill make any of those public as well when all hope is lost

Loren,

I think it's appropriate to post long past bad trader reports if they're first hand experiences, rather than hearsay.

TJ prefers to keep the house number off, though. Full name, street, town, state, zip code are fine.

Thanks for exposing your experience with Jared Hayes/Hayes.

funny how they always do the exact same plan,

scam

make excuses

stall more

claim the person was rude because they demanded their stuff

claim they were wronged

threaten a law suit due to telling others about it

and then drop the retaliation negative on the damaged party

its like we have all seen this bad movie before

this is one dvd i dont want a copy of.......

Hi. I am a newbie but I was checking out an email I sent to someone for BJ & The Bear on another posting to see if it was to the person he has been waiting on his trade from. GUESS WHAT? It was to this person that Loren got ripped off by! I have a new email address to add for this bad trader. The bottom of her reply email to me was the following:

I am so glad I read this posting or I would have been ripped off for 24 DVDs.
she has a trading website that I got the list for this show off of but I will have to research and find it. I will post it on here when I find it.

loren, it was not me that you had the negotiation with, i just tried to be a mediator and help the situation. tell me and the baord this loren. why did you agree to accept chico to make amends for the whole trade in the first place?
and why didn't you mention hawk in any of the previous e-mails until after you recived chico, and i guess it was not good enough for you. and then you came asking me for hawk. what kind of scense dose it make? none when i am not even a trader, you can search every message baord and you won't find me becuase i do not trade!!! but if my husband has wronged someone as a loyal wife i can try to make it right, as i did with pcsisme, i refunded him his money! where am i wrong at ?,and i try to help the people that my husband has wronged? and he too after he was refunded blasted my husbands name all over this mesageboard and minestoo, and if it wern't for me he would not have came close to a refund??!!! true i am married to him and i love him, but i am not him, and i have done nothing to you or any one else that he has traded with. you are draging my name and my personal info into cyberspace with out my consent. jared is not the only one who lives in our house. i live here, we have kids.my e-mail address is used mostly for work purposes people need to be more mindful with situations like this instead of just being mean to the people who are married to, related to the person in question. i am not the bad person here nor am i a bad person. i tried to be the mediatior, and you have a good standing on this board, i don't see how, i forwarded that nasty e-mail to this websites administrator so someone else will see how mean you can be to an innocent party besides me loren. and i requested that my e-mail address and personal information to be taken down. i am not involved with this situation, i wash my hands of the mediation that i tried to do. you were very compliant untill you got the chico set and then you did a 360 degree turn on me, and i was just acting as the middle party. i am not in coherst with my husband , and i DO NOT CONDONE MISLEADING PEOPLE, OR LYING about anything , and lastly, i have nothing to hide. it is enough that he can not frequent this message board anymore and have a reputation follwing him around cyberspace. and he deserves it, if he is taking peoples items, but i do not deserve to be put in the same catagory because i am married to him, it is in a way a form of discrimination loren, which is not allowed on this board.

In defense of Loren, I have traded almost 100 DVDs with him, and have had only very successful trades with him. He has an excellent reputation in the trading world.

Previous to his posting his troubles, Jared Haynes/Hayes was already located on the bad trading post page. That speaks volumes.

As Loren stated, this is a typical reaction from a bad trader, besides the fact that using the "I'm just his wife" tactic has been used by Pam Maples, one of the most notorious bad traders. That won't work here.

When a person gets ripped off in a trade in one way or another, they can get very upset and say nasty things. Attacking the victim because of their reaction to a situation is getting away from the issue.

The fact of the matter is that Loren got the short end of the stick. Until the Haynes make right on their end, the information Loren has posted will remain, if I have anything to say about it.

Note for the innocent bystander: This thread is closed for not only what's on the board but because of a lot that has gone on behind the scenes regarding this situation.
