Exclamation WHAT THE?!?!?!?!?!?

Okay....aside from the fact that my TV has not worked at all this year and I missed half of the last season of strong medicine and some of the season finale (which I presumed to be the "series finale").....STRONG MEDICINE ISN'T OVER?!?!

June 12
Sunday
9:00 pm Rick Schroder joins the cast as Dr. Dylan West. Rittenhouse Hospital is placed on emergency standby while the President is visiting Philly. Lu can't believe that Dr. Dylan was chosen as Andy's replacement. They bumped heads constantly back in med school. They're thrown together when a huge train wreck causes dozens of casualties. Lu and Dylan clash when they disagree about how to deal with the bipolar woman who caused the accident. Lu, still unsure about marrying Jonas, gets shot when she refuses to give up her ring in a late night mugging. Slowly bleeding to death, Dylan is able to save her with the blood on reserve for the President. With Andy in D.C., Kayla must find a place to live. Instead of compromising her stance on premarital cohabitation, she moves in with Lana. Starring: Jenifer Lewis, Josh Coxx, Tamera Mowry, Rosa Blasi, Rick Schroder, Philip Casnoff, Lori Loughlin [CC] [TV-PG LV]

What the..........? I thought the show was over; I didn't hear anything, but I just assumed with Andy leaving everything was done...This is quite a shock...not a pleasant one though. What if this guy doctor takes over half of the women's clinic? How are the patients going to take that? And didn't the new season just end? I am so....confused. Lu gets shot? Oi to the vei....this is much too much for one night....

Am I the only one so lost and amazed at Strong Medicine's return?

Why are you so shocked?? You almost seem mad that it is still on....The show has been doing exteremly well since it started...it's a huge show for lifetime, since it's hit 100+ episodes. For sure it's back June 12th and am asuming better then before! Maybe we'll even get a 7th season depending on how it goes...but i can't wait. And yes Lu gets shot, which will be hard to watch But what might make me feel a little bit better is her(Rosa's) little stroy she told in her latest post:

"The highlight of shooting this season so far, has been
lying on the ground of the rat infested alley to shoot the "getting shot" scene. Oh yeah, the intoxicating urine smell floated around us all, and a GINOURMOUS RAT ran across our feet where we were all sitting! My makeup artist Bridgette screamed bloody murder, and dropped her big box of makeup (that she carries around to make me look "natural"... ha!!!) and it was quite a night. I got home when the sun rose. I highly recommend the experience. Again, kidding."

Should be interesting!

No....I agree, Strong Medicine is a great show and I'm glad it's coming back. I'm not mad that it's back on (shocked, yes, but not mad). I'm mad that I missed so many episodes of this season and the fact that Patricia will not be returning. I remember when Dana left and Andy came on....I thought I would hate her but she's so different from Lu that it works, you know? It's going to be really different.....By the way, does anyone know why Patricia isn't returning this season?

Well Lifetime is always re-airing episodes and i think they have bee re-airing season 5 episodes. You can always go to lifetimetv.com and check Strong Medicine's airing schedule...maybe you can catch up. Also, i do know that the season 5 finale is airing the week before the season 6 premiere so you can watch the whole thing. It airs on June 5th i think at 10pm eastern.

Patricia left to spend more time with her family and sick father on the east coast. It sucks, but she did what she had to do i guess...

Aww...that's sad, but it sucks for all of us fans....It's going to be so different without her.
