Once, I was at the dentist and they had to put in a filling, so I had to have that gas crap. It took about 25 minutes for it to finally kick in so I'll be numb, but I still wasn't numb enough for them to work on. At this point, I was getting kinda dizzy. Finally I felt numb enough and they started working. And I wasn't too dizzy anymore. A while later (while they were putting in my filling), I was no longer numb and I felt every single thing they were doing inside my month! I still have no idea why that happened! But I couldn't talk to tell what I could feel. And I didn't even notice that I was crying until the dentist started wiping my face. When they were done, they found out what happened and they were afraid we were going to file a lawsuit or something! So I switched to a different dentist.

Don't forget to floss!!

Either getting my wisdom teeth out or the migraines I get. It feels like someone took a pick axe to my head.

The 8 teeth abcesses I've had in the past 5 years. The last was the worst - the infection spread to my jawbone, eye socket and up the side of my skull. The dentist tried to open 6 different areas in the gum to drain it, (he was even pushing from my eye socket downwards) but couldn't get much. He put me on extremely strong antibiotics and painkillers and said if it got any worse, I'd need to be rushed to ER as it was that close to getting into my bloodstream.

I've had a lot of chronic pain with the three forms of arthritis I have over the years, but the abcesses beat everything.

Having a hangover. OMFG. Okay, it didn't hurt *THAT* much but I had a hangover once for a good 12 hours, and I just wanted to die. Serves me right.

I really can't think of any offhand. I sprained my wrist VERY badly in a rollerblading accident in June of 2001. I thought nothing of it til the next day, when I woke up and couldn't even move my arm without pain shooting up my arm. I had to go to the ER.

Oh yeah...Bladder infections are a LOT of fun! [/sarcasm]

When I was 3, I pulled a fresh pot of coffee onto my leg. My skin came off in sheets. I had to learn how to walk on that leg again. I'll never forget the pain or the smell.

No really, It got sliced off at work a few years ago and after I was taken to the hospital, my co workers went to look for it and couldn't find it anywhere. It probably got swept up with the trash. Funny thing though, after several months much of the skin and tissue grew back on it's own.

I've never broken any bones or anything, but I've had so much trouble with my teeth. The first time I got braces, I remember it hurting for a couple days; it was terrible. It wasn't as bad as the time that I had to go to an oral surgeon and he cut half my gum open. That was probably the worst pain I've ever been in

Same here. I've never got stung by a bee or broken a bone. My braces were sore a few days I got them on, and they hurt a lot. I guess my only other pain is when I sprained my wrists and my ankle.

I got stung by a bee right next to my eye when I was 5. It was pretty gross! But other than that and my other story, nothing else has really happeded.
