a friend of mine has a site and one of his boards mentioned Dave Chappell and the fact that he was having trouble coping with success at a young age...so of course, I related that to Freddie's situation...and he posted something I didnt know about Freddie..............

I believe this was a clip from David Brenners book...........

In addition, Freddie had a little-known talent for singing, examples of which were heard in the background of the title song of the Tony Orlando and Dawn album "To Be With You" and in his appearances on their variety show.

yes and he sang with Bob hope (doing the small fry routine ) in the olympic fundraiser in toronto april 21 1976 it was excellant!

i guess he wrote a song too at one time i wish he would have recorded it

WOW...thats great... I HAD heard he could sing...and that he recorded a song somewhere along the way...but I didnt know about the Tony Orlando and Dawn thing...or Bob Hope.

and, just incase you didnt see what I posted this morinng...I heard Jr. has a show starting soon....

well, thats TWO Freddie reminders in two days....

He did great on the TOAD show & record. I never knew about the Bob Hope thing tho...
