I know of one-the final episode of "The Mary Tyler Moore show". I remember, when it first aired back in 1976, instead of the usual ending, wher they would show scenes from the show and show the credits over them, while the theme was being played, the ending was Mary standing in the newsroom set, and introducing the cast while the audience was applauding (and of course, there was no metion of those guys who were always in the back!
).In sydnication, that's been replaced with the regular ending. I wonder what ending the DVD of that final episode will have. |

It was in 1977 that the final episode aired.

Yeah I would expect a Finale in it's Original Run to have different closing credits than the ones in syndication. I guess i'm talking about the very first ep of a show or just any episode in general besides the finale. For example, i was told that the closing credits of the Jeffersons of the very first episode featured louise and george in a cab again like they were in the opening credits. Don;t know if that is true because of course I was not around in January of 1975. |
