Default Serpico

I rented this from the video store last weekend with Al Pacino. I haven't watched it yet but i'm gonna watch it today. This is a very old movie about police corruption. I've been wanting to see this for a long time because i heard good reviews about it. It's a damn shame i couldn't find this at Blockbuster Video. I got it from a independent video store. I love independent video stores because they have old movies on vhs that Blockbuster doesn't have. I don't like dvd's.

Serpico is a very good film and features one of my favorite Pacino performances. Frank Serpico is an amazing man and Pacino really brings him to life on screen. It is also really cool to see a police officer with a huge beard and long hair!

Haven't seen this either, but I may check it out, it looks decent. Al Pacino's flicks are usually good.

Serpico was a very good movie. I am a big Pacino fan. Also check out his other films, Cruising and A Dog Day Afternoon. They are very good.

This is the movie Pacino should have won an Oscar for. This movie is fabulous!!!! Chris Sarandon is great, as well as the entire cast.

'Dog Day Afternoon' is my favourite Pacino movie, but 'Serpico' is a close 2nd.

Who is the woman that was in the bathtub with Al in Serpico? What's Dog Day Afternoon about?

Dog Day is about two Vietnam vets (played by Pacino and the late John Cazale) who hold up a New York bank. What they planned to be an easy in and out operation turns into a total fiasco. Dog Day Afternoon, is from a pure acting standpiont, Pacino as his best. The film isn't made as well as Scarface, Carlito's Way and The Godfathers, but as far as performances go, Pacino was never better.

Don't forget that this was based on a true story.
