Thumbs up Your Favorite Character on the Show ?

I love Barbara Eden, Jeannie and always will. I also thought that both Dr. Bellows and Ms. Bellows made the show in their character roles.

Dr. Bellows is my favorite.Watching his reactions was classic! You could see him losing it, but still trying to keep his cool.Even when I was younger, all my friends liked Jeannie or Tony Nelson but not me! They would tease me cause I liked the "old man",but I never changed my mine and never will.

Good for you,Mimi.Although I did think at times that Barbara Eden was a knockout,I always felt that Dr.Bellows made the show much more interesting.Hayden Rourke's portrayal was somewhat believable.I remember seeing him interviewed and his saying,"I tried to give some credance to my character."

I remember him saying on the show,"I'll write a whole book on Major Nelson's behaviour when I retire.I could do a sequel about Major Healy."

Gotta be Roger. Sometimes he was so dumb(which in this case equaled funny), but yet there were those few times when you could tell he was just as smart as Tony. Heck, maybe smarter. It did take Tony 4 years to even admit outloud he loved Jeannie.

I kind of liked Amanda Bellows. I have no clue why, but whenever she was around, the show got really enjoyable and funny.

I liked Jeannie's dog Gjin Gjin. He was spiffy. Of course there were other great characters, but Gjin Gjin takes the cake!

Hey there Andrew....or shall I say "callmetootie"- it's cool to see you over here!

Anyway, my favorite character is Jeannie, of course. All the others were a little too uptight for me. I used to love watching this show when I was a kid- it was like a fantasy for me because I really wished I could be a genie myself (but I would have also settled for being a witch like Samantha....).

Jeannie's cool, but I always had a thing for Mrs. Bellows, maybe beause she dressed normally. For the guys it's Dr. Bellows #1 and Tony #2. Roger just got annoying. But Hayden Rourke was the best. I've seen some of his movies, but he's just always Dr. Bellows for me.

I liked all of the characters on the show but probably my fave is Mr. Nelson. I like when he has to make an excuse for things not making sense and other things that is funny that happens and I really liked the episode where my fave actor guest stars as Harold that bummling genie that came and the president was coming over and all. I think the episode was titled " My son the Genie". Jeannie is also my fave character too.

Gosh, it's such a hard decision because they are all so good on this show! Dr. Bellows just cracks me up, especially his reactions to the things Tony does (or doesn't mean to do, but does them with the help of Jeannie). Another favorite is of course, Tony.

This is an easy one, Roger!! Oh my gosh, he is classic! Kind of a thoughtless character who dosen't think before he speaks. Tony, I get aggrivated at. He is such a flirt! But then there are times when he is really sweet. Jeannie is the show so u gotta love her. Dr. Bellows made the episodes by being so nosy and in the wrong places at the wrong time. But Amanda Bellows, she really gets on my nerves. Just leave the Nelsons alone! She's got something against Tony. But still, one of the funniest episodes is that one where she thinks Tony is Jeannie's husband and he's keeping her cooped up in the house all the time.

Tony, Roger, and Jeannie are my favorites. Roger is so goofy he does things without thinking and they're so funny. Tony makes up all those funny excuses and explainations that make no sense but everybody always falls for them. Jeannie is so funny because she's a fish out of water. She tries her best to help Tony but it always ends up in a huge mess. I love that show!!
