Default The Cosby Show vs That's My Mama

That's My Mama was more watchable than the last 2 seasons of the Cosby Show. In regards to the other seasons of the Cosby Show, i don't think the Cosby Show was that much entrtaining than TMM because neither show had a STANDOUT CHARACTER like the shows below

Sanford and Son-"Aunt Esther"

Jeffersons-"George Jefferson"

Good Times-"James Evans/J.J"

What's Happening-"Rerun"

I'd watch paint dry before I watch another episode with Olivia or Pam.
I might beg for death.

I agree, i stopped watching eps with Pam and Oliva 2 years ago. Any character on That's My Mama were better than watching a Cosby Show ep with Pam/Oliva.

I'm surprised you consider Aunt Esther a standout character since you didn't like her.

Well I didn't like her but she did stand out with that Mouth and Wig. That's My Mama did have a stand out character-"junior" but he wasn't seen enough

I would have to say I'm surprised too that That's My Mama has a release date on DVD and not Alice, One Day at a Tme, or Chico and the Man. But I'm not complaining-lol

What are about now? Now that you've seen TMM, you might wish you picked one of those others. I was surprised too but I'm still glad they released it.
