Post Bill Bixby & Barbara Eden

I think Bill Bixby would have been a terrific guest star in I DREAM OF JEANNIE. I think Bill Bixby should have been a master of Jeannie -- Bill Bixby is way better looking than Larry Hagman.

Barbara Eden is the best. Barbara Eden is still so attractive. I think Barbara Eden has a super shape. I know how the guys feel for Barbara Eden. I think Barbara Eden is so very intelligent, too.

I vote for Bill Bixby! I was a huge fan of his and I had a super crush on him growing up. Especially when he wore the aviator glasses. Woooooooooooooooooooooo.

"Bill Bixby" are you crazy I'm doing a bit of acting myself and I can tell you Bill Bixby couldn't pull of Larry Hagman's role its not looks that count its the acting and I must say Larry Hagman did a dam good job in his role, I guess thats why Dallas went on to be a hit too. Larry Hagman is also a handsome looking man and face it the reason why Larry Hagman and Barbara Eden were good because of the relationship they had with each other, they adore each other and now both have seat in the history of television. I think that whole I dream of jeannie cast was great.

I agree. Everything was perfect about the show. I sure as heck wouldn't trade Larry Hagman for Bill Bixby.

I enjoyed Bill Bixby in most of his work, but I am sorry - he is no Tony Nelson. And Wayne Rogers as Jeannie's Master in "I Dream of Jeannie 15 Years Later"? He was great as Trapper John, but I do not feel he and Barbara Eden had the same chemistry as Larry Hagman and Barbara Eden.

I heard on a few occassions that Darren McGavin was the first choice to play Captain Nelson. I cannot even imagine his pairing with Barbara Eden.

They got it right when they cast Larry Hagman on I Dream of Jeannie. So much so that for the longest time I did not like to watch Barbara Eden or Larry Hagman in any other programs or movies. I especially had trouble with any romantic scenes they both had done with other actors.
That sounds silly I know, but they were and still are my favorite television couple.

Just trying to bring the board alive again.

I did a bit of acting before and they were very small roles. I thought of it as a career but now NO-WAY!
But I think actor chemistry is all you need to be great and it help if you can act too.

I think it was chemistry that other actors lack in with Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman.

Even when Larry Hagman was with other women on I dream of Jeannie he didin't have what he had with Barbara Eden. Take the episode Tony's Wife when he was in the kitchen with the dark headed lady he seem uneasy. But with Barbara Eden they can touch each other in all the right places and make it look like real love Barbara Eden seem not to have a problem being all over Larry Hagman but with some other actors she a bit different.

I hope you understood that?

I thought they were both great at their kissing scenes
