These person has many different e-mail accounts and more then one name according to our e-mails. she goes by the following names

(1) Angie Smith
(2) Angie Jones
(3) Annie Macleod

Her e-mail accounts are as follows
(1) mailto:snuflowerblue77@ yahoo.ca
(2) mailto:mitchsneak@yahoo.ca

The address she gave me was

Annie Macleod
13818 highway 316
crossroads country harbour
nova scotia b0h 1j0 canada

She is from Canada if anyone has any questions concerning our trades I have all of the e-mails saved on my account. She was supposed to send me some tapes and she was the one to approached me first. She lied more then 3 times during our month of e-mails and the last e-mail I got from her was the first days of May 2005.

That looks to be the infamous Lisa/Annie Mailman. She's scammed many people, including myself. Another e-mail address she used was annenlisa @ ns.sympatico.ca. Stay away.

I wondered the same thing when I saw Anne and Canada connected, once again. Long story, but from what I understand Anne whatever-last-name-she's-using-at-the-moment uses her neighbors' mailboxes' addresses without them knowing it. She's quite the crafty one.

This is a prime example of my reasoning for rarely abiding by the rule of "sending at the same time" but almost always follow the moto "he who initiates trade sends first". This helps weed out some of the bad guys.

very sorry to hear that she scammed you! on the other hand we do appreciate you posting your bad experience with this person. certain measures can be taken to avoid idiots like this.

#1 - researching the boards. just like ebay you can tell who's solid and who's not by feedback reports.

#2 - if the person in question has NO feedback to speak of, force them to send first or NO deal what-so-ever.

You would like to think people would have more integrity than that. I just recently engaged in a trade with her... so I guess I know what is coming, nothing.

If it was a small trade, you might get something. If it was anything like my experiences, it may not be all that great, though. She got me when we went from small, one- or two-tape deals to a large 10+ tape deal.

Just to let everyone know she's out trying to rip people off again. I almost fell for it. I'm glad I checked these posts first. Her address is still the same, but she's using this name & email now:

This is the email address she tried to get me also. She has another email address that she is using on Cool Collecting Tradingn forum www.ramblingredrose2000@yahoo.ca and her user name is tug452 and signing her posts as Caitlyn.

There are two other posts on her as well. This is the famous Nova Scotia trader!!

For the record, though 'Caitlyn' is an unusual name (I think), I've had some excellent trades with a Caitlyn (not from Nova Scotia).

im sure theres lots of nice folks in nova scotia, but i would trade videos with anyone form there, unless they did the first sending

she also uses other folks mail boxes and names--with out their knowing
