Default Jan Brady-A LOVABLE LOSER?-LOL

I been seeing the TV LAND Promos for the TOP TEN:Lovable Losers-Nerds and Geeks and I was just wondering if someone could tell me why I'm seeing Jan Brady on the promos for the Top Lovable Losers? I really didn't expect to see a clip of Jan Brady in that promo

no, jan brady is not a loser, nerd or a geek. theyre probably going by the brady bunch movie, because she was portrayed (think thats the rite word) as a bit of a geek. but the REAL jan brady wasnt, i thought she was a lot cooler than marcia someitmes.

Jan Brady was made to be a loser in the Brady Bunch movies, but I dont think she was a 'loser' in the show. And loser is a horrible word to describe someone.

I agree..I thought season one Jan was a total cutie! In fact, I always thought that Marcia looked kind of dorky with pigtails that year. Cindy was very cute that year also, but Jan was cute AND very pretty as well...

I still remember when we first saw the opening credits for the fifth season... we wondered if a new girl was playing Jan...what a change from season 4, when she had glasses and braces...man, oh man... That's right folks...the Brady Bunch.... 1974 TV at it's hottest!

The only thing TV Land got right was the fact that Jan, in fact, was LOVABLE!

Do you mean that you haven't seen any episodes from Season 5 yet? Are you watching the episodes of the show on TV for the first time recently? So far, only the season 1 DVD is out (season 2 will be out sometime this month, if it hasn't come out already).

Glasses sure don't make anyone look like a geek. I especially feel that way about Brandon Cruz, who played Eddie on "Courtship of Eddie's Father". What a hunk he was as a guest-star on "The Incredible Hulk" at age 15, going on 16, back in April 1978. He looked great wearing his wire-rimmed glasses then.

erin05... if I may, there's a book I'd highly recommend to you, as a relatively new BB fan...it's called "Bradymania" and it is apparently available on Amazon.com for $2.50... originally published in 1992, it contains plot summaries of every show, as well as biographical info on all of the Bradys (the book also mentions the death of R.Reed)... It has stuff like (1) 100 trivia questions, (2) 100 "guess the quotes" questions, the history of the show (including several of the later spin off Brady shows)... truly a must read... also talks about how the show was put together and has all kinds of other interesting little factoids...

Here's a link to Amazon's info about the book... I didn't check to see if there are any online reviews...

Generally speaking, I personally think that the 4th season was the best season for the show.
