Anybody here about a LIVE dog being dissected? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I was watching my news last night and one of the stories was about a teacher who disected A LIVE DOG INFRONT OF THE CLASS!!!! I didn't catch where it was and was trying to get more info on the story.

Apparently the teacher wanted his students to see how some system worked in a live dog so he disected it while it was still alive. He then made some plans (or already had the plan in place) to have the dog put to sleep.

HOW CRUEL CAN THIS GUY GET? Apparently there were several complaints to the principal or superintendant who sided with the teacher saying it was for educational purposes.

In my opinion, the teacher should be arrested for feloneous torture of an animal.

Anyway, just trying to find out where it happened because I want to write to the school district.

This is sick. That teacher should have charges brought against him and he has no right teaching kids. That could scar them for life.

that absolutely is animal cruelty. it must have caused too much hysteria in the classroom for the kids to learn anything from it.

there are times when PETA's pussiness can be useful.

I sure as hell hope so!! Now THERE the SPCA and/or Humane Society MUST be able to step in!!!
