Default T.C. Question

Hello, I haven't really gotten to post much...I still don't like posting on message boards LOL, but I thought I'd post a question (sorry if it's already been asked).

What opinions that you had about the show have changed over the years/months that you’ve been watching T.C.? (i.e. your opinion of the characters, the show itself, etc)

For me, it was:

1. The first year I started watching, I thought Priscilla wasn’t pretty at all (I think my excuse was that her lips were too big or something--I can’t believe I didn’t think she was pretty) and yet, I thought Suzanne was gorgeous. Now I think Priscilla is and was much, much prettier.
2. The first two years or so that I started watching, I was a Jack and Janet freak...just about every episode I saw I thought, “Aww, they’d make an adorable couple.” Well, about two years into the show, I realized, “Hey, if Janet got together than Jack, then he could never marry ME...” LOL, Yes, I’m greedy I know. I also noticed that Janet got frustrated Jack many times and while Suzanne was on the show, he always seemed more interested in Chrissy anyhow.
3. I used to positively HATE, HATE, HATE Lana and I guess I still do, but I don’t hate her nearly as much as the first three years I watched the show.
4. I keep on changing my mind on what is my favorite episode. When someone asks me, “What is your favorite T.C. episode?” I will always say either, “Up in the Air,” “Jack Goes the Distance,” “A Night Not to Remember,” “She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not,” “Jack’s Tattoo,” “Boy Meets Dummy,” “Macho Man,” “Strangers in the Night,” “Eyewitness Blues,” or “Two Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest." LOL! There may even be more...

Things that NEVER changed for me:

1. Jack Tripper has always been and always will be my favorite character.
2. I’ve always liked the later episodes A LOT more than episodes with Chrissy.
3. Season 6 has always been my favorite season.
4. I always didn’t like Mr. Angelino, but I've always loved Dean Travers.
5. Janet Wood has always been my favorite female roommate.

Well...I guess I better go to bed...it's already 4:00 a.m.!

That's a good question lol I like it

Things that changed:

1. At first when i saw the commercials that TC was coming to nick@nite, I thought it was going to be a stupid show and that i never would watch it.

2. Before season 6 Janet was my favorite character and Joyce was my favorite actress.

3. I like TC more now from coming to this message board lol

4. I never used to collect TC stuff

5. I used to HATE Larry but now I like him a lot more than what I thought I would.

6. I never used to HATE Suzanne as much as I do now (I guess being a Terri fan you kinda grow to hate her, I don't know, just a thought lol)

7. I have become a bigger Terri/Priscilla fan since I met her in NYC

Things that stayed the same

1. Terri was always my favorite (when I first saw her anyway, before that shouldn't count because I didn't know who she was then)

2. Season 6 was always my favorite

3. I still HATE Dean Travers and Mr. Roper

4. Star Struck and Two Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest were ALWAYS my favorite episodes

I think that's it... if I think of anymore I'll post

SAme here.Sometimes Larry gets on my nerves when he gets Jack in trouble or when he tried to humiliate Terri so she wouldn't move into the the apartment so he could get his girlfriend to be JAck & Janet's roomate, but sometimes he does or says things that crack me up(like that one quote in Ralph's Rival

I myself, never understood why trhat they didn't just extend 'Lana's character into the rest of the remaining seasons, along with J. Harrison. And in the series finale, why wasn't 'Cindy' and 'Lana' at Janet's wedding?

Ok, I'm back and ready to answer the question

Things that have changed

* I was never really a Joyce/Janet fan when I first started watching the show. She kinda had to grow on me and she sure did! Now I find her character utterly fantastic and adorable.

* I used to HATE Larry. I remember thinking he was an annoying character but now I LOVE him. I think he just had to grow on me too

* My respect for Suzanne has dwindled just a tad. I mean, I don't blame her at all for what happened...entirely. But the fact she charges money for her interviews on something pertaining to John's death...well, that unnerves me.

* I used to be a strictly Ropers fanatic, but I'm beginning to like Furley's antics more and more It's kind of a hard decision to see who's better.

* My attraction for John/Jack has grown THREEFOLD since I've started watching the show regularly.

* I've become more of a "Terri" fan

Things that have not changed

* I still watch the show each and every night whenever I can. It never gets boring to me.

* Jack is still my favorite roomie, Chrissy is still my favorite blonde.

* My favorite episodes of all time are still "Two Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "Up in the Air"

Great topic!!

Things that have changed for me:

Even though she is now my favorite blonde (and tied for second favorite character with Janet) I used to HATE Chrissy. I just thought she was so stupid and annoying, but now I love her

I used to tolerate the episode "Coffee, Tea Or Jack", but now I hate it. Yuck, I never watch that episode when it airs, or on my DVDs.

I usually change what my second favorite season is a lot, but season 4 is always my favorite.

Things that have stayed the same for me:

Jack Tripper, of course, has always been my favorite character ever since the very first episode I saw.

I've always thought John Ritter was the nicest looking guy I have ever seen, ever since I first saw him in the opening credits to "Three's Company" on the very first episode I saw.

I was never really a Jack and Janet fanatic. I've always thought they were such good friends, and I really enjoyed watching them as just friends (even though I like to read all the fan fictions that are written about them).

I've always like Lana, she can really be hilarious sometimes!

I've never disliked Cindy, I like her, it's just that she's my least favorite out of the three blondes.

Janet used to be my second favorite character, but now she's tied with Chrissy for second.

My favorite episodes have always been "Up In The Air" and "A Night Not To Remember".

My favorite season has always been season 4.

I've always thought Janet was the prettiest of all the girls, and that Terri was the prettiest blonde.

Though I think Chrissy is pretty, I've always thought that she was the least prettiest out of the girls.

I think that's pretty much it. Looks like not very many things changed for me.
